Here in Ep. 30 I finally delve into the phenomenon of alien abductions but focus on it from a Christian perspective. I draw upon the research from one of the foremost ufologists, David Jacobs. I explore various types of aliens, including Grays, Insectilians, and Nordics, and their hierarchical roles in abductions. BUT most importantly, I connect the phenomenon with biblical narratives, particularly the Genesis 6 account of the Nephilim, where I put forth my belief that there is a connection between ancient divine-human hybridization and modern alien-human hybrid cases. In Episode 28 I talk about the controversial issues linked to the Super Bowl ad from a group called "He Gets Us." The ad, which shows scenes of foot-washing involving various people groups and has stirred up a TON controversy in the Christian community. Though the ad superficially seems to promote love and acceptance, it subtly promotes a 'woke progressive liberal' type of Christianity that misrepresents Jesus' acceptance of sin. To me it is the epitome of what the "Woke" church is all about! You see Jesus loves sinners, but he calls them to repentance. I also explore examples from the Bible where Jesus mingled, dined, and sympathized with sinners but never condoned their sin. Furthermore, I criticize the drive to accommodate guttering societal pressures, as observed in cases like the first non-binary transgender priest in England and I conclude by charging Christians to study the Bible to discern and resist such falsities, masked by the guise of love, acceptance, and inclusivity. Every year I think that it is so important to receive a word, theme, verse from God that highlights God's vision for you for the upcoming year. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained." In John 6, Jesus preaches a very difficult sermon to hear and receive and hear and at the end of the sermon, all of his followers/disciples are confronted with a choice...do we continue following or walk away. Hundreds of Jesus' followers end up walking away and stopped following him. Jesus then turns to his 12 and asks them if they were going to go as well? Peter responds by saying, "Where are we going to go?" Over the last number of weeks, I have been confronted with a similar type of choice, not in whether or not I was going to continue follow Jesus, but in terms of how I now view ministry and the church and that, "I can't go back" to how I saw things in the past.
