Let’s Talk French

For the final episode of the season French is joined by the “The Pull Up Podcast” and they have a debate around which gender they believe to have better friendships. They debate this based on levels of longevity and vulnerability within friendships between women and men and towards the end they discuss the dynamic between men and women friendships.

For the penultimate episode of the season French and Mallz sit down together and share “22 Lessons” that they have learned over their 22 years of life and within these lessons they use the opportunity to give advice to the listeners.

In this week’s episode, French and Mallz tackle mental health and speak about how mental health differs for each and every individual and they also discuss the importance of having a support system. The duo dive into depression, anxiety, suicide in depth but also shed light on schizophrenia on OCD.

This week French is joined by good friends Halimat and Steve and they start off by having a discussion on how corporate life is treating them post university. The trio then move onto talk about how peer pressure and social media has an impact on young adults and how it has impacted them in their decision making.

In this week's short episode, French is joined by her good friend Steve and they have a discussion on the UK's cost of living crisis and how they have been impacted by it. They also speak about their views on how the UK will be in 5 years and whether or not they can pictures themselves staying in London for the foreseeable future.

It’s halfway through the season and French is joined by good friends Joel and Michael and this week it’s’ all things commitment. The trio debate on whether or not they feel as if they are ready for commitment and they discuss their fears that come with this. The discussion then moves to whether or not they feel as if having a partner at a young age can be deemed as a distraction backing this up with real life examples and other scenarios.

In this week's episode French is joined by good friends Kaymarie and Emmanuella and they begin their discussion by answering the question of whether or not they believe that our generation 'are becoming the aunties that we hate'. The trio then move on to discuss the current trends with beauty and fashion and how that has impacted us especially within the UK. The discussion then shifts onto what the girls find the most attractive in men as well as their big put offs, where they also share some personal experiences.

In the third episode of the season French is joined by JM and Brandon and they discuss how men and women are both similar and different emotionally using dealing with heartbreak as the opening question. The trio then move on to speak about some of the day to day pressures men face and shed light on abuse and how it can be argued that the severity of domestic abuse which happens to men isn't taken as seriously compared to women.

For the second episode of the season French is joined by Halimat, JM and Denzil and they debate on whether or not is possible to mix friendships with money. The group then take this further by debating on if they could go into business with their friends, spouse or family in the future, speaking about both potential pros and cons to doing so.

Joining French for the first episode of season 6 is Emmanuella, Halimat and Jordan and they sit down and discuss the impact that religion has on their morals and values. They relate it their perspective on money, forgiveness, marriage and their way of life and they even share a few testimonies. The discussion then shifts to the group sharing their views on how in modern societies it is becoming normalised to disrespect religions and they share how they feel in regards to this.

For the final episode of season 5 French is joined by Mallz and they answer some questions asked by viewers/listeners whereby questions vary and range from topics surrounding dealing with the pressures in society as young adults, mental health and personal questions.

This week French is joined by her close friends Steve and Gbenga and they debate whether or not it is lazy parenting to send their child back home because of their behaviour or grades. The trio then move onto speak about how they differ from their parents generation and speak about some of the characteristics and traits they would adopt when it comes to them parenting in the future. The pair then move onto discussing how social media has created a culture that normalises oversharing and exposing ex friendships, family issues or relationships and share their opinions on people who engage in such behaviour. This week French is joined by close friends Mallz, Emmanuella and Jordan and they have a deep discussion surrounded around 'cancel culture' within the UK and discuss whether or not it is something that people genuinely care about or if people just follow the crowd. The group use incidents from social media influencers as examples, which then opens the door to a discussion about racism on social media as well as colourism within the black community. This week French is joined by close friends Emmanuella and Kaymarie and they have debate on whether or not they agree with the statement “he switched up out of nowhere”. They then move on to discuss closure and if there’s any point of those who were in relationships to seek closure from their ex partners. This week French is joined by close friends Jasmin, Joel and Vella and they discuss why they believe that there is a growing hate between both women and men. The group then shift discussions to talk about their views on dating and even share their own personal experiences. This week French is joined with Chad and they speak about the importance of taking risks in life and they move on to share their biggest risks they've taken this year. This week French is joined by close friends Mallz and Akera and they debate on whether or not they believe that life would be easier if people stopped seeing other people for who they wanted them to be and simply just accepted them for who they truly are. They then move on and discuss whether or not it is fair for friends to 'ghost' each other whenever they feel like it. In this week's episode, French is joined by Emmanuella and Kunmi and they share their thoughts on whether or not they thought that university was worth it and if they would relive their three years again. The trio then dive deeper and shed some light on how university impacted their mental health, how it changed them as individuals and how it has prepared them to begin the next chapter of their lives. Views on degree apprenticeships are also discussed, as the trio debate on the level of importance a degree holds which then leads to them debating the pros and cons of both.
