On this episode Mr. E and Emily discuss the Dumbo Octopus that is unlike any other octopus that you may know. These cute little creatures are only cute in the water and live thousands to tens of thousands of feet in the deep ocean. So please take a deep deep dive with us and enjoy the Dumbo Octopus.

Not only are these aquatic masters of electric manipulation, they are also very good talkers and listeners. Make sure you give these guys a wide berth in the dry season and remember they are not eels.....

The North Sulawesi Babirusa, or “pig deer” is an astounding, prehistoric-looking animal from Indonesia. Rarely seen, but with an appearance impossible to forget, the adult males of this swine species sport some of the strangest (and least-functional) tusks in nature.
