ARFID can lead to nutritional deficiencies and significant weight loss, impacting both physical health and social functioning. It differs from more well-known eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia, as it lacks a focus on body image. Follow Dr. Willmott on Twitter @emwills11 for more updates and professional insights.
