Nearly two years ago the wedding photography industry was ROCKED by what became known as Google Gate. A comment made by Luke Granger in a Facebook group explaining how Google Business Profiles could be removed from map listings quickly spread. What followed was chaos. Photographers reported disappearing profiles and vanishing reviews. Luke Granger became the face of the controversy. Since then, he has not publicly shared his full perspective. Until now. In this episode, I sit down with Luke to hear his side of the story. It's not an attack. It is not a takedown. It is an opportunity to understand what he believes happened and how it affected him and his family personally. You may agree with him, you may not. A cancelled flight, a budget hotel near Gatwick and a whole lot of lessons. This week Daiga & I reveal our destination disaster and recall some of our real stories of when things have gone wrong for us at weddings.
