Now that we are able to recognize all the consonants & vowels and also to read a few simple words, the next step is to be able to combine the consonants and vowels to make different sounds. Before starting this lesson, I want you to open the table with Nepali Consonants on one side and vowels on the other. You can either print them in 2 separate pages, if you have 2 monitors, open them in each monitor or if you have only 1 monitor, you can use the split screen function as I do. The idea is to be able to see both consonants & vowels at the same time so that you can see what I am talking about. The main idea is to practice this exercise again and again until you are able to get all correct. That way, we can move on to the next phase, which is learning to read simple words in Nepali.
