This experience introduced him to the entrepreneurship ecosystem and gave him the opportunity to engage with incubators and accelerators to refine his concepts. In 2017, Mashudu joined Yoco, his first formal job. What attracted him to Yoco was the company's focus on purpose over profit. Yoco's mission of empowering and improving the lives of entrepreneurs resonated with Mashudu's own purpose. He found fulfillment in helping small businesses think beyond their current limitations and realize their potential for growth and impact. While at YOCO, Mashudu became heavily involved in YOCOMeets, a networking event where entrepreneurs gather to discuss real-world challenges and find solutions collaboratively. The impact of this work and the broader platform provided by YOCO have further fueled Mashudu's passion for empowering individuals to take control of their entrepreneurial journeys.
