Shy To Stage! Ryan's Journey... | Client Hot Seat

“You should do this” “You shouldn’t do that” “You should eat this” “You can’t eat that” … Ryan had had enough of it all. He had had enough with youtubing fitness tips, meal plans and training programmes and getting nowhere. He was fed up of training hard, following a plan for months a time, And seeing no progress! He’d look around in the gym and get p*ssed off that other people were making more progress on less effort and he didn’t know why. Ryan went from being someone who would never even dream of wearing a vest to the gym, To someone who 3 years later, Had completed 2 photoshoots and smashed 2 shows, Even picking up a regional whilst doing so! He went from the shy guy in the gym, hiding his physique away. To the man leading the pack and stepping on stage. And as Ryan will tell you, It wasn’t an overnight success, And it didn’t come easily. 15kg down and back again... The Chefs Journey! | Client Hot Seat

Today's episode was another in which we decided to upgrade Big Dave (recurring theme at the moment isn’t it) And we replaced him with another client.. To talk through his story and coaching journey to date! I’d like to introduce you to Seb AKA ‘The Chef’.. We did things a little differently to what would be classed as ‘normal’ in the fitness industry as we sat down with a big bottle of beer & just had a chat! The chef has been through a pretty impressive transformation to date. We started working together well over a year ago with the goal of losing body fat for his summer trip to Croatia! I worked my magic and Seb dropped roughly 15kg & looked absolutely incredible going away.. Goal accomplished! BUT.. This lit a fire in the chef.. As he started to see what might be possible with an even bigger goal. Something to take him to the next level again. So he signed up to our world famous Biceps & Banter photoshoot this summer (actually on his birthday!) This meant we had to then go into a stage of adding muscle & gaining weight.. Something that is quite a tough ask for someone who has just lost so much and got into the shape of their life. This journey has seen a little bit of everything.. And coming from a guy who works in hospitality in an environment where you are judged for not drinking, smoking & eating A LOT.. He has arguably had a tougher time than most. But we aren’t done yet & I can’t wait to see the end product come July 2024! So, show the chef some love! How Long It Really Takes To Get In Shape!

SH*T! "My holiday's in 6 weeks Jake and I need to get in shape, can you get me lean for it?" Erm...this is awkward. Look we've all left it until the last minute to try get in shape, But the fact is that 6 weeks, 8 weeks, is NOT a long time to diet. Why? Well mainly because 6 weeks is never 6 weeks! You forget to account for any nights out, social events, illness, trips, work emergency, family emergencies. These all have an impact and turn 6 weeks of dieting into more like, 4 weeks of dieting and 2 weeks of barely holding things together. Which never gets a result. He has always struggled to build muscle.. And despite doing the research and knowing what he should be doing, he never managed to make any progress. Which is where I came in. And the rest is history. Evan is now filling out his t-shirts.. Pushing much bigger numbers in the gym than he ever has done.. And has a photoshoot on the cards this summer to document how hard he has worked. I honestly think this is one the most valuable episodes we have put out. It shows you how important consistency is.. And the reality of getting the results we put out on our page!
