'Yogabellies Moray with Katie' was born in January 2022, dedicated to guiding women through pregnancy, postnatal stages, motherhood, and menopause, locally in Moray and online. Accolades and Achievements: This journey culminated in a significant achievement – being named the Pre/Post Natal Trainer of the Year 2023 at the Scottish Health & Fitness Awards. As my business evolved, I expanded its scope by crafting unique events and workshops, leading to the inception of KDB Energy®. This expansion was fuelled by recognising the widespread demand for stress reduction and relaxation. It became evident that my transformative energy is sought after not only by women but also by individuals of all ages, including children. Current Role as a Senior Yogabellies Teacher: Today, I proudly serve as a Senior Yogabellies Teacher, contributing to the global community by helping train other Yogabellies teachers worldwide. Join Katieanne Duncan-Bruce @yogabelliesmoray as she reflects on her journey one year after completing her EMPOWER Yoga Teacher Training with YogaBellies. Discover how the training has impacted her personal and professional life and the successes she's achieved in her yoga business since graduation. My background has mainly been in the Performing Arts / Entertainment industry and I have over a decade of professional experience. Holding a BA(Hons) in Dance a Diploma in Live Events & Promotions, I have worked around the world as a performer as well as undertaken various production and management roles - most significantly Clarke Quay (Singapore's Entertainment Captial). However, the proudest moment of my life was the birth of my identical twin boys Alfie & Charlie. Carrying twins was very challenging, both physically and mentally. Following my C-Section I had to undergo a further 2 abdominal surgeries, including a full muscle repair for Diastasis Recti. It was during this time I felt really isolated in my recovery as I found there was a real lack of pre and post-natal focused exercise available - ultimately it was what led me to become a yoga teacher.
