Episode 17: Brooke's Nutrition Journey

8/24/2023
Hi, I’m Brooke Czarnecki I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. While I help others find food freedom now, it wasn’t that long ago that I used to do some of the same things many of us do in the “pursuit of health” (that actually weren’t healthy at all!). In todays episode of the Actively Fueled Podcast, Brooke shares her own nutrition journey and covers topics including: -Disordered eating and how sneaky thoughts can mask as normal/healthy behavior -Orthorexia and focusing heavily on eating "perfectly" -Exercise and RED-s -Intuitive Eating My story is a part of me and my story is the reason I am able to help so many incredible people. My life used to revolve around food rules and restrictions. I thought my body was something that had to be controlled in order to stay “in check.” I was terrified of what might happen if my body changed. Letting go of the restrictions and rules wasn’t easy but I wouldn’t change a thing about my story. My story is a part of me and my story is the reason I am able to help so many incredible people. YOU deserve to live a life free of food rules and restrictions because you see – it’s not just about the food. It’s about living a more empowered and inspired life that isn’t defined by your body.
