He started his music career at age eleven as a disk jockey in his hometown of Luverne, Alabama. Bobby’s position at the radio station provided the opportunity to interview some of country music’s biggest names including Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Keith Whitley. With a childhood so closely intertwined with country music and its legends, Bobby developed a deep-rooted respect for the genre. His signed his first publishing deal with Mel Tillis and he is currently a staff writer for Curb Word Music Publishing. Colt and David sit down with songwriter Phillip Lammonds. Phillip Lammonds is a songwriter and talented instrumentalist from South Carolina. After college, Phillip was a founder of The Blue Dogs, a beloved and critically acclaimed bluegrass and rock inspired jam band. He then started his family in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina while working as a fishing guide, a falconer, and the owner of a real estate company. All the while, Phillip wrote songs and traveled to Nashville to pitch them. After fifteen years, fifty or so trips to Nashville, and cuts on major artists—Hootie and the Blowfish, Josh Turner, Craig Morgan—Phillip moved to music city to pursue songwriting full time. He stepped onto the scene with a publishing deal from Curb. Colt and David sit down with songwriter and producer Ben Glover. Ben Glover is a Grammy award winning songwriter and producer from Loveland, Colorado, a small city on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. Glover moved to Nashville in 2000 after signing his first deal the year prior. Originally starting as an artist, Glover discovered quickly that he preferred the studio over the stage and began a fruitful career as a songwriter and producer. During the course of the last twenty years, he has penned and produced forty #1 songs in multiple genres of music and was named ASCAP’s Christian songwriter of the year in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016. The Ohio native ROTUNDO grew up singing and playing piano as a hobby, upon high school graduation, he joined the US Army and served four years on active duty. Never losing his love for music, ROTUNDO taught himself how to play guitar and write songs during his last year of service before moving to Nashville. While in Nashville, ROTUNDO (previously in the duo After Midtown) was actively touring opening for artists including Florida Georgia Line, HARDY, Billy Currington, Kip Moore, Mitchell Tenpenny and more. In 2023, ROTUNDO refocused his creative output to pursue his singer-songwriter/country solo career. Rotundo says, “I’m someone that gets beautifully lost in the art of songwriting. Colt and David sit down with meteorologist Danielle Breezy. Danielle Breezy is the Chief Meteorologist for WKRN News 2 in Nashville, TN. Originally from Philadelphia, Breezy began her passion for weather in the 8th grade when a local TV meteorologist visited her school. After graduating from Cornell University she had stops at Salisbury, Oklahoma City, Dallas and Boston before landing in Nashville in 2016. Breezy received the American Meteorological Society’s June Bacon-Bercey Award for Broadcast Meteorology in 2022 for exceptional life saving coverage during the March 2-3, 2020 Middle Tennessee tornado outbreak and sustained efforts to educate the community about severe weather safety. She also received the Edward R. Murrow Award for her continuing coverage called “Tennessee Strong: Aftermath of Deadly Tornado Outbreak” which was from that same outbreak. In her spare time, she finds herself giving back to the Nashville community with organizations such as the Nashville Wine Auction, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Red Cross, the Nashville Humane Association, The Rally Foundation and many others.
