The book is meant to help people find stories, inner resources, and practical tools for living with compassion, courage and even joy in the face of collapse. It comes from her small group work with collapse-aware people in the international Deep Adaptation Forum (deepadaptation.info/events, search for her name.) She has worked as a research chemist, transitional minister, and hospice chaplain. She lives in Southern California and facilitates Nonviolent Communication practice groups, grief circles, and community circles both locally and for the international Deep Adaptation Forum.
