We are returning to a topic we have been covering on the show for a number of months that is the lack of green spaces in Dublin 8. Sporting Liberties represents several local sports clubs involved in GAA, rugby, soccer and boxing in the Dublin 8 area, where 8,500 children are without a sanctioned green area to play sports. They have been lobbying Dublin City Council to engage with them on meaningful action on a green space for children to play on for the past decade. Pat took a trip to Dublin 8 to visit the local schools and have a look at the facilities that are available.
