Show Notes: Ok, let's organize and automate your bill pay! Have all your Bills available for one-time set-up only. I like to have paper copies with account numbers, mailing addresses, and telephone numbers for every payee. You may add payees to your bill pay as you go, but I prefer to have them all set up at one time for easier budgeting and money allocation. Enter all your bills one by one, and double-check all the details like account numbers and payee mailing address. And you are ready to make payments! Easy as that! In my simple budgeting coaching, I have a worksheet to help you organize your bill pay where you list all your payees with monthly amounts for easy money allocation and to budget specifically for Bill Pay. Now, you are ready to enter all your bills each with the amount and due date. Now you have a nice list with all upcoming bills to pay and with the available amount right in your online bill pay. So what happens when it's time for the bill to be paid? How the money are paid? Your bank actually does the job: when the bill's due date approaches a bank cuts a paper check, a real professionally looking paper check for you and delivers it to your payee, friends all free of charge! If you are already using online bill pay you can easily agree with me, it's amazing! And if you have bills that are the same amount every month then you can automate them, saving you some time. I recommend using online Bill Pay for all your checking account transactions and all others, I simply use a credit card. Only remember to add your credit card bill to your Bill Pay so every month you can pay off your credit card balance. With the Bill Pay system in place, you can check all your upcoming payments which makes it easy to see if you have enough money in your bank. If you feel a little bit unsure, let me walk with you and help create a simple budget for your bill pay to ensure you have enough money to cover all your bills. We will come up with a strategy not only to get your bills paid on time but how to pay off your debt, one by one whether it's your outstanding credit card balances, your car loan, or if you like to create a special fund for a specific purpose. Show Notes: Friends, try training your brain to practice enough mentality. How much is it really required to live a healthy simple lifestyle? And remember simple is always more: more freedom, more space, more rest, more health, more peace, more happiness in your marriage and relationship with family, and more money in your pocket. Instead of buying more junk food buy less: organic, natural products. And friends, farm-fresh eggs and farm-fresh milk taste much better and our digestive system is created to work better with these products. They are more expensive but you simply eat them less because of so much nourishment that is enough in lesser portions. Ok, let's look into 3 habits you need to start to work on right now. I am recommending starting with one, mastering it for a few days then adding a second one, and then a third. Start with just one thing you are most connected with. Give yourself a few tries, and get yourself in the mood to do that one thing every day. Maybe just practice that new way of thinking every day. Write on a sticky note and put it next to your makeup mirror, set it to your desktop background, and put it on your fridge. Lead your day with confidence, peace of mind, and a grateful heart. Show Notes: When my son Dave was born with Down Syndrome and being a new mother of a child with intellectual disability it affected my self-worth. Automatically, not even giving much thought or consideration I fell into a trap of a very low self-esteem. I immediately was thinking of how others would look at my son what hardships of cruel societal norms he will face and even more how I will handle all of this. Many other factors can easily throw us to the curb as "unworthy" unless we allow it. So, how to be worthy in an unworthy society? The thing is that our perception of social acceptance is already distorted when it is based on physical appearance or on what is called a low IQ factor. Your value is much more and it is immeasurable and does not fall into acceptable norms or beliefs but rather installed deep in your soul DNA not only live a life of joy, happiness, love, blessing, and forgiveness, but be that joy, be that happiness, be that love, blessing, forgiveness, and acceptance first to yourself and then others. When you freely give these gifts by being the ONE to yourself, to your family, your neighborhood, your church, your school, your co-workers, to your boss, your mom, dad, brother, or sister. And you can become the ONE today, right now, right here. See your state of joy is not externally influenced and you can't buy it with money or gold. It's rooted in your inner identity that is uniquely installed in us by a higher power, by our creator. Show Notes: You probably heard about the cash envelopes budgeting method. This is when you designate one paper or plastic it doesn’t matter envelope to a specific budget category. There is nothing wrong with it but I find it extremely unpractical and inefficient. It is very unsafe to carry bags of money with you in the store when your hands are tied with many moving parts and when your kids are with you. Plus managing the envelopes themselves is another level of time and energy that makes this method time-consuming and ineffective. Let’s look at the hybrid budgeting method. This is a combination of using your online checking account and your credit card. It takes you to devote about an hour of your time preferably on a weekend to get it going. It will require your daily attention for a few minutes to simply jot down your transactions for the day. A credit card is a convenient, secure tool that helps us with our daily lives, and every time you use it you earn cash back, not every credit card offers this though. This is the only credit card I recommend to have, no others just this one and only. Same with a checking account it's just another tool to help us to keep a close eye on what’s coming in and out. You might ask, why just not have a debit card and not even bother credit card? I prefer working with credit card, my main reason is that it provides very good security over your account. Debit card does not, and secondly, many credit card banks pay you cash back, and thirdly, you can put a credit limit on your credit card. Why it is important to establish your credit card limit? Let’s look at it. Here I would like to make a disclosure. If you are a business owner, please make sure to separate your business bank account from your personal.
