Business Christmas: A Hallmark Christmas movie podcast

We're back after a nearly three-year hiatus (oops), with a little something different this time. For this episode, we watched Christmas with the Campbells, a parody of our usual beloved Hallmark fare. Here's the description: "When Jesse is dumped right before the holidays by her boyfriend, Shawn, his parents convince her to still spend Christmas with them, and Shawn's handsome cousin, while Shawn is away."

A Boston teacher decides to relocate for a new job, but finds herself sidetracked in a small town over the holidays. There, she meets the town handyman and his foster son, and begins to learn the true meaning of both Christmas and family.

We're back after a lengthy hiatus! This time, we're talking about Christmas in Rome, starring Lacey Chabert and Sam Page. It's the usual Business Christmas tropes, but gender swapped! Angela's a tour guide in Rome who meets busy, culturally incompetent businessman Oliver on the street and agrees to help him understand Italy--and specifically, Christmas in Italy. Join us as we watch him learn that Christmas is, as always, more important than business.

In the days leading up to and including Christmas 2019, we're resharing some of our favorite past episodes of Business Christmas! First up is Episode 4: A Christmas Kiss. Enter Jean Smart as a high-key weirdo who tells Noelle her life is trash and takes her on a journey of what might have been--and possibly still could be, if she makes some key changes to her life. Oh, and the love interest is a hot firefighter.

Holly, the tree finder for Chicago's Radcliffe Tree Lighting, must find a new tree ASAP following a mishap with a crane. Holly heads to a small town to find a replacement tree--and possibly true love.

Market researcher Joy (played by the adorable Danielle Panabaker) heads home over the holidays after her beloved aunt is injured in a fall. She ends up taking over her aunt's annual Christmas Cookie Crawl -- and is reunited with a handsome man from her past.

On this episode, Kat and Nicole discuss Netflix atrocity A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding. In the days leading up to Amber and Richard's wedding, Aldovia is rocked by missing funds, union protests, and horrific sartorial crimes. This is the sequel to A Christmas Prince, which was a far superior film (we covered it on episode 6). Everyone looks like shit in this movie, and we're not really sure why!

We invited our friend Jorn to join us to discuss this weird movie where Lori Loughlin inherits a Vermont inn with a Christmas secret. Will she sell it, or give in to holiday magic? Dermot Mulroney, still extremely hot, is also in this movie, because he does Hallmark movies now.

Join us as we discuss The Princess Switch, which is a weird title for a movie that's actually about a duchess. The two Vanessas -- the duchess and a baker -- swap lives for a few days right before Christmas.

We discuss Netflix Original Christmas movie A Christmas Prince! New York City heiress Ellen has to deliver a special Christmas card to her dad's business partner and ends up learning the true meaning of Christmas. The plot doesn't make a ton of sense, but Jake Lacy is weirdly in this movie!
