The Venus Arms Hotel is sort of the reverse Hotel California. The stranger who has been looking for Danny Hillcrest realizes his task is not going to be as simple as he had hoped. He'll need to stay the night at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers. But checking in is proving to be a bit complicated. The stranger also makes his way to The Tunnels. The underground complex is one of the last places Danny was known to have been spotted. The maître d' spills some Café Americain about Danny. The stranger in town is laser-focused on finding Danny Hillcrest. A fact that puzzles everyone who knows Danny. Even so, Giles, the front desk clerk at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers, attempted to be accommodating. He suggested the stranger speak with the hotel restaurant's maître d'. A good suggestion. The supposedly-French headwaiter is all too happy to dish some dirt on the departed Danny.
