In this episode, we get into the topic of understanding the issues that Veterans have to deal with. The acknowledgement of being thanked for volunteering to serve in this nations military, or is it the fact that most people could care less about the veterans that have served. We speak on the issues of change, that are upcoming or are trying to be implemented that will affect servicemembers past, present and future. The changes give a sour taste for veterans and some try to navigate differentiating if Veterans are being thanked or giving the F U, cause of there service. It is understanding that sometimes the VA does things that complicate the issue. The government also does things that questions the validity of actually assisting Veterans. Some are beneficial and others are not. As spoken and covered before in previous episodes where a lot of information is being changed, left out, or entirely omitted from what Veterans deal with or are going through. Veterans are left wondering and need to prepare the next generation for this uphill battle with Veterans Claims. As these changes will affect the past, present, and future Veterans.

We have to make sure we are getting the word out to Active Duty, Veterans, National Guard and Reserve components. This is something that they did not know that they signed up for but its something that they need to be notified about and something that they need to make sure they know their gameplan before it becomes an issue and before it becomes a headache. Being a veteran is an honor than few in this country get to experience but at the same time it comes with it's sacrifices. It's time to assist those whether they are just beginning or have been on this journey.

In this episode, we complete the final project for one of my Graduate Studies courses for the Masters in Public Administration from Kansas State University. This episode was recorded with the final in mind but also continuing our effort to bring more awareness and information to Veterans across the country. We talk about both Veteran Affairs Committees from the House of Representatives and also the Senate. We take a quick look at a few laws and bills that have been proposed and also made into law that have assisted veterans. Many of the bills that have been passed are related to name changes of facilities and clinics across the country. Those name changes in order to recognize a servicemember for a heroic act or a significant effect that they had while serving. We speak on the members which currently hold the chairman position and also the break down of the members. We speak on the topic which many veterans have to deal with. Stories that make nationwide news which are usually in a negative light. Those being the Horrors and the failures of dealing with the VA or Veterans Affairs. We also shed light on the often-misunderstood Compensation and Pension (C&P) exam and the issues that sometimes arise when having those examinations. Reports and Hearings are one way that light is shed on the information that is being researched and also on the findings of reports and investigations. These findings contain information that benefits veterans but like mentioned before, they don't receive that information in order to become more aware of the possible changes and work that is being done to assist veterans. This will be one of many episodes that will begin covering the situation with the Veteran Affairs Administrations, The Committees in congress and also, the finding and reports that can be highlighted. In this episode I travelled to New York City, and noticed the essential things that come about when it comes to the medical aspect of being in the military. With the noticing what the difference is between the United States treatment and also the treatment in Germany. There's many flaws and benefits to having healthcare with the military. Major plus for your family in order for them to be taken care of. It isn't always the same when it comes to the servicemember, where care isn't always the main priority. So we talk about a few issues while in NYC and we try to make a lil memoir of it all.

In this podcast episode, we discuss current events happening in Tennessee speaking on the Representatives being expelled and trying to silence them, and why the retention rate in the military is low due to some of the same reason Sheddings light on various issues that contributed and continue to contribute to the problem. We touch on the impact of COVID-19, the importance of teaching, and using common sense to address these issues. Tune in as we explore the issues with the retention rate in the military and support our brave men and women in uniform to help identify what it is that is making it all seem like its burning down.

What do I do now? The question a multitude if not every veteran asks themselves once they have decided to unlace the boots for the last time. We talk about what I went through and the planning that it takes for servicemembers to make sure they are prepared for once they are no longer serving in the military. The decision and the options make it more stressful on anyone as you are starting a new chapter in your life. You go from having most of your time planned out to not knowing what the next step is. So we go into talking what the transition is, the steps, actions taken within the timeframes and the completion of leaving the military. After 10 years I will say it is a welcomed change. Now to the next chapter in life, but remember for awareness and a better success rate, make sure you have a plan and make sure that you stick to it in order to succeed. Also, look out for fellow veterans not all have a plan that they were able to follow and sometimes comes at you faster than you know it. So assist and teach everyone to the best of your abilities to make sure everyone gets to the next chapter. Thanks for tuning in!

Allowing people to be heard and listened to and enabling them to understand that seeking help is not a problem, but that it's a solution that needs to be pushed further within the United States Military Complex.

Who is Fidel Cruz? This episode dives into myself the host and the story that unfolds when joining the military. All stories start off the same way but all go in different ways once you swear yourself to defend the constitution of the United States. We've all heard the numerous stories of those who have become heroes and names that will be heard forever and spoken about throughout history. This is just the version of another American joining to serve his country and how he wants to create change within the system. There's good, bad and ugly within the uniformed services, but its time we speak on all issues and inform those not aware about all that goes on as being a part of the military in teh United States of America This is me speaking on experiences endured during Basic Training and also for the process beforehand.
