Leslie Richardson, PhD Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, Florida State University Dr. Leslie Richardson joins Assistant Dean, Shenifa Taite to discuss how faculty can design their courses with a goal of deeper understanding rather than content mastery. Dr. Richardson shares three stages of Backward Design (Understanding by Design-Wiggins & McTighe) while dealing with the “tyranny of content.”

Drs. Lisa Hightow-Weidman and Kathryn Muessig from the Institute on Digital Health and Innovation at Florida State University College of Nursing talk about the transformative power of digital health interventions.
