College of the Desert’s award-winning radio station provides students with the opportunity to dream up new and innovative ideas for radio programs and gain hands-on broadcasting and producing experience. COD’s radio station educates and grows future radio personalities, producers and entertainment professionals. The station plays a variety of music and discovers new artists for your college radio soundtrack. Radio and television students gain hands-on experience with live broadcasting, production, events, management, news, sports, programming, social media, deejaying, announcing and more. Students will learn all aspects of running a radio station using the latest in digital radio technology.
