Skimstone Arts collaborates with diverse artists, researchers, individuals and communities, nationally and internationally. Our Ensemble creates and produces multi disciplinary touring theatre, film, music and exhibitions which reflect current social narratives, challenges and inspirations we face in today’s diverse society. Imagine Your Seat builds on the success of Here’s Your Seat, a 42 minutes film of songs, poems and photographs, created during lockdown with communities in Byker, Walker, East Durham and across the world, projected from St Michael’s Cafe, Byker and online in summer 2020.
