Description:

Grammy winner Rodney Crowell got his start as a country songwriter when Emmylou Harris recorded one his "'Till I Gain Control Again." In 1975, she asked him to join The Hot Band, her backing band, as a guitarist and harmony singer. Country legends like Waylon Jennings, the Oak Ridge Boys and Johnny Cash have all recorded songs written by Crowell. He had a successful career as a solo artist in the 1980s and has experienced a resurgence in popularity starting in 2001. Crowell and Harris released Old Yellow Moon, their first album together, in 2013. Here we have collected a few of his interviews and performances.
