Welcome to the USL Show! We are here to look at the USL in the south. As the machines are currently rising against us all this week was a bit shorter than future episodes (or the right length, we are feeling the length out as we go) but we managed to catch up with a few players and look at what is in store for week one. So use this as a celebration or a poor attempt to drown your sorrows after week one!
Sanjay Patel, board member of Soccer in the Streets, joins Jill Robbins for this week's Soccer4Good. Sanjay had the vision to build a mini-soccer pitch in a MARTA train station in Atlanta and brought the stakeholders together to make it happen. Thanks to MARTA, Atlanta United, and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Station Soccer was born.
We've finally got a competitive match to talk about, as Nashville SC prepares to take on defending USL Cup champs Louisville City FC. Jordan Cooper of Derby City Ultras hops on the podcast to tell us everything we need to know about LCFC. But before we get into the USL regular season opener, what is the USL anyway?
