Rock
Hi Sound Clouders and welcome to my SoundCloud page I began piano lessons when I was 6 years old, inspired by my mother piano teacher, who accidentally discovered that I am gifted with almost absolute music hearing (perfect pitch). I studied piano and music theory for about 11 years and achieved very good classical piano performance playing Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and many others. Later In my high school and college years I was introduced to, and immediately fell in love with early and late Hard, Psychedelic, Progressive, Symphonic and Space rock bands and composers like: Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, ELP, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Uriah Heep, Grand Funk Railroad, Yes, Queen, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Styx, Foreigner, Electric Light Orchestra, Asia, Dire Straits, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, and many others (God of the Hard Rock forgive me if I missed someone worthy). During 70's-80's I played keyboards and synthesizers in small rock bands. Since then I my heart and soul is with this music forever. With my engineering skills I even tried to build small synth, but lack of resources and access to the parts quickly become a death sentence to this project :( Now I am merely amateur musician and self-taught digital music composer/producer in my free time. Years ago I started experimenting with DAW based electronic composing and I am fascinated about enormous advance these days in modern software based sound synthesis. I love my “mighty” Dell mobile extreme workstation packed with enormous computing power that can produce virtually endless count of leads, sounds, pads, patches drum beats effects etc. with almost ideal Vintage synths quality. I am exploring ways of composition, sound recording, mastering and producing digitally synthesized music using famous http://www.image-line.com FL Studio 21.2.3 It comes with an extended set of software synthesizer instruments, FX effects and mixer plugins, also I combined them with a few 3rd party VST/VST3 instruments like u-he Zebra2, Diva and Hive and Spectrasonic Omnisphere 2, Arturia etc. I found FLStudio so far as a great, easy to learn, relatively inexpensive, and extremely versatile DAW to record, MIDI capture, mix, sound engineering and produce my music ideas up to the final stage of release. For all my live performance and MIDI input I am using my fully weighted, hammer-action AKAI MPK88-Key, keyboard and Alesis QX49 Advanced MIDI keyboard. I built at home small inexpensive studio with of-the-shell mixer, True Sound studio monitors and good pair of professional monitor headphones. When I discovered SoundCloud I immediately became part of this enormous social site that seamlessly connects everybody around the world, who loves to create, produce, promote or just listening to music. I am fascinated by its vast genre richness and worldwide reach. So I started my SoundCloud StarGazer-978 project. I generally describe my genre as Electronic Instrumental Progressive Space Rock but might be off this feel sometimes. You can add an “Old school” tag as well, due to the influences I had in my life, but I am trying to get my own flavor on this too :). I am taking my musical inspiration from stars, galaxies, universe, space travel and human exploration of space. I am still experimenting with various things in music, so I can't say that am always stay in my announced style. Sometime you may find some of the pieces that may sound quite differently. I hope my first trials don't get too "harsh comments"( :-)), but don’t get me wrong I am open to any opinion of my music. Please feel free to leave comments, favor and re-post any of my pieces. I will try to do the same as my time allows me to do it. Thank You for checking my music. Hope it will deliver to you some pleasurable listening experience Enjoy StarGazer-978
