Description:
Brian D'Arcy was born in County Fermanagh. Educated in Omagh, Enniskillen and Dublin. Through his Ministry he has worked in different parts of Ireland as well as the USA. He spent two terms in South Africa and he regards this as the most fruitful period of his life. Brian began broadcasting in 1965 His weekly column in the Sunday World has been running for the past 27 years. His work with the BBC began 12 years ago with 'Pause For Thought' on 'Wake Up With Wogan' as well as a long running series 'Be My Guest' on Radio Ulster. He now broadcasts a weekly programme with BBC Radio Ulster, 'Sunday With Brian D'Arcy'. He has published seven books. His interests include Religion, Current Affairs, Music and Sport. At present Brian is Rector of The Graan Monastery in Enniskillen.
