Mo was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Mo developed a love for music listening to Beatles records with a portable record player when he was a kid. His love for radio came when he started listening to Chicago radio personalities like Johnny B., Steve and Gary, Kevin Mathews, and many others. Mo moved from Naperville, IL, to Madison, WI, in 1994 and while working in an office building saw a classified advertising the 'job of your dreams in radio'. That radio station was WTTN 1580 AM in Watertown, WI, and the year was 1996. Mo quickly moved from part-time weekend shift to a full time mid-day shift at WTTN playing music and hosting talk shows. In 1999, Mo landed a weekend position at WRJO 94.5 FM in Eagle River, WI. There he also quickly progressed to a full-time afternoon shift where he stayed until coming to WIKB in 2007 where he became the afternoon host and program director. In 2010, Mo made the switch to hosting the morning Mo Show which he really enjoys. Tune into the 'The Mo Show' Monday thru Friday 5:30 to 9:00 am on 99.1 FM WIKB "The Bull".
