The Press Conference Podcast Presents Episode #69 - New Bloom Fest: Recap & Review 🌺 Dave & Fil spent the weekend hitting up all 3 New Bloom Fests across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and caught up today in person to recap and review such an amazing weekend! Covering all the major bands, our favourite locals of the weekend, favourite moments and more! And even chat through their way too early predictions and wish lists for next year! We are absolutely stoked to announce our next guest… Presenting Mixtape #26 with Antiskeptic 🔥 Antiskeptic are fresh off the back of releasing their first album in 10 years, ‘Instincts’, and this week the pod was joined by frontman Andrew Kitchen for a chat. We talk about the hunger of returning for a new album after so long, writing an album in lockdown, how the scene has changed over the years and so much more! Andrew brought us 5 tracks on behalf of the band that helped inspire this record, including some absolute heaters from bands like The Killers, Closure In Moscow and The Veronicas. We are excited to announce the next melodic hardcore band on the pod… Presenting Mixtape #23 with Fallweather 🥀 Fresh off the release of their debut EP ‘Halesia’, we were lucky to be joined by Cullen, Halley, Bradley & Dimitrious from Melbourne outfit Fallweather. With their huge debut show right around the corner, we talk about how the boys came together, what the response has been like since launching the project and what influenced the EP. This week Dave and Fil were joined by guitarists Liam and Brody to chat the journey the band has been on, what it means to be a ‘pop punk’ band in 2023, and more!
