Detection Dogs Can Help Sniff Out Trafficked Wildlife

Detection dogs can help detect trafficked wildlife in shipping containers, a new study from Adelaide University has found. Dr Georgia Moloney and her team partnered with shipping company CMA CGM to design a new approach to screening shipping containers for trafficked wildlife. Using an air sampling device attached to the shipping container vents, their specially trained detection dog Stan was able to detect hidden wildlife items like pelts with 98% accuracy. Loot Boxes and Gambling

A recent study from KU Leuven in Belgium suggests that teenagers who play games with gambling-like or chance-based mechanics like prize wheels and loot boxes are more likely to gamble with real money later on.
