Welp, I'm sorry this one is late. In this episode, I mumble about people not doing shit, penalizing poverty, restructuring a major organization and forgetting my recording equipment when going to record with a guest. I also go into some thinking ive been doing on consciousness, the soul and how they may be exponential in their ability to elevate.. There is a bit of random clicking in the home stretch that i couldnt quite clean up. Hang in there people. Stay free!

I immediately get distracted by thoughts of my wife's butt and share some thoughts on the recent assassination attempt while remaining as unbiased as possible. I also toss a few conspiracy ideas out and have a testosterone-fueled vent session about testosterone.

I return after a month break to wish the United States of America a happy birthday. I read the Declaration of Independence (if you can call it reading) as a reminder to those of us who haven't read it in a while, and so that those that have never read it have an idea of what it means. My wife and youngest drop in momentarily, I toss a few "F" slurrs i chose not to bleep and I go off on something I cant remember. Happy 248th Birthday USA. We are doing our best to #StayFree. Michael is a philosophy major working toward his PhD and also son-in-law to Nicho. We discuss AI, morality, truth, ethics, logic, etc. I had several dull moments, but did my best to keep up and we hardly scratched the surface of the sea questions I have. We were very limited in time, but I feel like we could have talked for literal days. I very much enjoyed this conversation and want to thank Nicho for making it happen and Anschutz Cafe for allowing us to record and on such short notice. I sit for a short, distracted ramble about Mother's Day, my anniversary, Leonidas' first fish and I can't remember what else. Something about technology, maybe?

A simple idiot and some of his political thoughts. Oh, also Captain James Cook and Hernan Cortes. I try to paint a picture of life at sea but get lost thinking about the Cortes expedition into Mexico. Good shit

In part 2, Brook'l and I try to explain some nuisances of marijuana to Matt. We also lightly discuss trauma and Matt clears up and elaborates some stories I had heard as a kid. He also talks about speeding to prove a point, falling through a single pane window, and gives me some perspective on parenting. Also, Randall gives us some more vocalizations. This one is full of chuckles

In this 1st part of a 2 part release, I start off heavy with the sarcasm and trick Matt into slipping a slur. Took less than 2 minutes. We then spend the majority of the 1st hour talking about dogs and poop. We talk about Lucy and Simon but never mention that they were Welch Corgi's. This one is for my eldest daughter. To Akia: I hope you have a great day on your 13th birthday! I am extremely honored to have been able to witness your journey thus far and am very excited to see as much of the rest of it as I'm able. I am also very proud of what you've done and who you've become. I hope you listen to this whenever you need a reminder, a pick-me-up or to flex. I love you more than words can describe. Louie G takes a night off of working on his projects and invites me into his home for a LONG overdue session. We were plagued with technical hijinks in the beginning but we powered through. We bounce all over discussing social media, governmental overreach, anarchy, independent thinking and critical thinking along with a few other things. He even grabs a shovel and helps me dig a little.

Grandpa, Gregg and I start while we wait on Brook'l and Brandon to arrive, at which point the 3 brothers are joined by Brook'l to argue about anything and everything. This is a little window into our sibling dynamic. We argue about technicalities, ways of thinking, and simply just to argue. Brandon's son Jrue even made his podcast debut. This one didn't quite go as I had imagined, but it is organic an I have faith that we will figure this podcasting thing out. The majority of this is an argument fueled by my lack of sleep and me spitting my stupid ideas but as always, I had a great time and very much look forward to the next one. Also, Gregg was very open and honest about some darkness he experienced and I thank him for his courage in talking about a difficult time and subject because it not only hopefully helped him, but hopefully will help someone else listening at any point in the future. Well, we took a stab at redemption . We start off joking about "mud crickets", hear about Jeff's short firearm deer season, cover some things we wanted to address or elaborate on from the previous episode and they let me dig myself a hole. I even get lost recounting how I used to mix a 5 gallon pail of "Jerrell Juice" and spin into a flashback. I love hanging with these guys and can not wait to see where our future conversations take (or put) us. Ughhh.. Well, this one is quite cringe on my part. If you need to hydrate or want to play a drinking game, this is a good one. Choose from one of the following phrases and take a drink every time you hear it: "That's what I'm tryina say," "That's the thing," "Here's what I'm sayin," "Here's the thing" or if you're REALLY trying to hydrate/black out "Fuck/fuckin". I was extra vulgar, bullyish, and got very passionate at times. Forced points, lost track of talking points and talked circles trying to find them.. Just overall not happy with my conversational etiquette. I do know I'm not standing alone in the self-reflection pool, but I hope this will be a good example with positive takeaways in one way or another. Thank you for listening and supporting. I wasnt gonna post this. I was going to rerecord. I missed alot of things i wanted to say, forgot to mention certain topics, hit a 20 minute ramble, etc. This one was never on the rails. Fucked up my thank-yous IMMEDIATELY and it never recovered. But it euhhh, what it euhhh. I will address one thing I bobbled right off the bat quickly and leave the rest alone: Thank you Zack and Jeff for the continued behind-the-scenes support and and for being great, insightful, intelligent, open, honest, entertaining and respectful guests.

I sit with my grandpa and Akia in this one. Akia had been wanting to sit down and record with grandpa for a while and we finally made it happen. Akia and I both kind of dropped the ball on this opportunity as she didn't bring her laptop with all of her questions and I hadn't prepared any to assist her in interviewing grandpa. Instead, I ramble and rant throughout the episode. Suprise
