I was really excited to get this interview to share with all Dream Home Hunters. How does the custom build process for your dream home start? I talk with Brad Leavitt from AFT Construction out of Scottsdale Arizona. Brad is the Founder and President. AFT Construction is an award winning custom home builder in Scottsdale AZ. Brad has built an amazing team that can do everything from a 1500 sf custom home to 20,000+ sf dream homes (we talk about one of that type they are beginning soon. Full sized tennis court, trampoline barn and more). He and his team are multi-year Houzz Design award winners. In addition to running his business he hosts a successful podcast and YouTube channel as well. I was lucky enough to catch up with Brad for an interview where we talk about how the custom dream home design process works, overcoming challenges (what do you do when a contractor makes a change to the custom plans that results in the roof being 3 feet above State regulations?) so you can still over-deliver on client expectations.
