I talk with a pharmacist, Sam Ashe who established his own cost-plus pharmacy Beargrass Gift & Drug in Columbia Falls, MT. We discuss topics related to prescription drug costs, PBMs, insurance companies, and both what is wrong with the industry and what some people are trying to do about it. Sam spent over 21 years in the industry working commercially as a pharmacist until he decided that a cost-plus, insurance-free, pharmacy would best serve the needs of the community and help to combat problems with today's inflated prescription drug costs and lack of health care choices.
