Coversode #48 The Ad Was Riddled with Typos

7/29/2023
We enter this Coversode sweaty as f*ck, but in excellent company. D "The Bearded Wonder" steps in for an assist, while Sierra Hartman of Grit City Mag comes to show us his wares. Not a native of where he holds his heart...we get origins born from a place which brought Reaganomics and poor policing adjacent trials (insert joke here), tales of suburbia paint a picture of what safety looks like. Oh snap it's called Magic Mountain Boulevard. Bit of a fast forward gentrification is a real problem to be addressed. Military service opens worlds because early education doesn't always hit it's mark. What we internalize can be a battle of demons trying to take us down. Perspective is EVERYTHING! He turns his eagle lens onto landscapes rarely truly seen as he escapes into the areas where true essence lies. There's divergence of being within the crux of privilege. Our apologies the Somalia language is the Somali language, no disrespect intended. JoJo dives into her late night perusals...it's all circumspect. Who knew one-way tickets can get you off the online dating train??? Enter the ultimate passion project where seeds get planted, allegiances are formed, and brilliance is born. Hey Tacoma it's time for the spotlight because the vision is focused on you. He finds himself blessed with the genius partner who is Sara (badass extraordinaire table of one please). A groove settles in with the artistry contained within the pages of this breathtaking endeavor. Shout out to NINA!! As always thanks to Max, Derek and The Chatter Network!!! Coversode #47 Really Just by Happenchance

4/21/2023
Ahhh it's been a minute, yet the wait is always worth it. Gracing us with his presence in this Coversode for a return engagement is Dave Orton, because 3rd is the charm. Sounds from the dungeon...all mid-cracker, requests go but not sure unheard. We're in new digs but with "old" friends. Straight out the gate we learn managers be managing by making mad scientist moves knowing how to make lightening in a bottle. As egos lay down, it's in the music Moonfever is born. As he talks, we discover honesty abounds within the writing process. He's sorry not sorry if you're listening you know. He's giving loving shout outs to all. At this point, names are getting epically screwed up...shots go down hard lol. Turns out eyes mean a lot to Dave too. Rabbit hole here we come...Sayonara Nike, Hello Nelly, Google still works...moon fever is not a disability. Age comes in to play, so the conversation turns to when do we lay down in our grave? Doing what brings us LIFE has no age stamp...massive blowout coming! FYI age and maturity are not mutually bonded. We peep into our collective souls in search of humanity. How and when do we decide to not hit send on our proverbial emotions yelp review? Patterns of growth ebb and flow, grace can come in doses greater than we imagine, opening eyes and ears allows the heart to truly see things. As always thanks to Max and The Chatter Network!!! Coversode #46 I Don't Know Mate, I'm Just Here

3/14/2023
This Coversode finds us in deep nickname discovery again, yet some of us are just trying to get through the intro. Straddling the beginnings of where he comes from, Lexeus Lightharp shows perseverance. He displays a real gift of intelligence with no love of authority, and moves swiftly beyond his years. When scrappiness is the order of the day, you might want to know what you're doing. His roots are seeded in MMA but his true love is in with cats. He's just a man who knows what he likes but...

Killersode #12 Blink Twice for Help featuring Chris Staudinger of Pretty Gritty Tours

3/1/2023
Killersodes are back...sort of lol!! Somehow, somewhere ghosts decide how things go down, especially in the haunted Chatter Network studios. What once was lost is now found, as in audio. Our guest co-host is none other than Pretty Gritty Tours host extraodinaire Chris Staudinger. He comes armed with ALL the knowledge, which brings some disappointment in regards to a PNW land mass. Sorry, not sorry corrections happen. This Killersode centers around the history of Tacoma, and the many murders which play out. As live shows go, shenanigans and shots accompany discussion of the historical and paranormal which comes with some sadness. Origins of stories can be truly ugly, but nonetheless need to be told. Bays should come with a warning "don't take what doesn't belong to you" or ships may sink also don't hire douchebags, rich people stay committing atrocities, legacies of terror will play out through loops of time, and history continues to show protection of the vulnerable has never been a thing. Eyes are the window to the soul, and blindness is the way the darkness keeps us silent. Coversode #45 Owls Are Peeping Toms...We Don't Kink Shame Here

2/17/2023
As Coversodes go, this one may be a hot mess!!! Let the Chatter Network shenanigans commence as we try again to figure this thing out. Who gets called what is the mystery to be solved as Gabby does her best to keep all her voices together and inside. Saddle up to the bar because we're here for the drinking games people, rolling some dice time-morphing into a better understanding of our networks origins. Pandemic-shandemic things will come, and we're all greater for it. As we sit and reminisce, the glimpses of how we got where we are begin to make sense. Apparently, Halloween spirits like By The Cover or at least Chris of Pretty Gritty Tours...old audio appears. Old homes make for cool ghost stories and good ghost finds. Coversode #44 Grinding In The Dark

2/10/2023
We've taken the show on the road for this week's Coversode that's short and sweet. Age isn't anything when it comes to how we do, and Jaivion McLaughlin brings us knowledge that can serve us all. His truth comes by way of a family love, which takes us on a journey of knowing this is how one gets through, his lack of years belies the curiosity that comes deep from within. Basketball is the pulse that seeds his future endeavors to fuel the world. Covid opens his eyes to a different understanding of placement, what we decide to do should and can be fun while helping others along the way, yet injuries take a redemptive arc to help see new vistas of how to process the world. SHOUT OUT TO O'SHEA for bringing us this soul of promise, but truly its Mom and Dad McLaughlin who really deserve the THANK YOU !!! IG: @_jaivion Support the show

Coversode #43 At The Ripe Old Age of 7th Grade

2/3/2023
It's a woman's (minus one) world with this Coversode, plus all the producers in the house. Coats, Cruella, and beautiful dogs crash in the studio with Charlotte and Tara from Bloodshed and Brews. Worlds apart friendship can be found as borders cannot be contained. Turns out hours in you can still get some good stuff. Brainstorms happen and once again Covid gifts us as they fall into their genius. True crime has its opening yet beer brings up the rear. Where does the love go? Or where does the love grow from within ourselves? As apps go, algorithms of hotness lead to money traps because shooting your shot can cause an ego death. Also, creepers be creeps (no reference to the producers extraordinaire in house)...dudes out there TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!! FYI Tara is not a hater even as Siri jumps in to try and save the day 😅. Segue to vampires to let the right one in or call the right one in as long as they're sparkly. Time is when we find the space to love ourselves, it gives us a place to possibly find what's being sought. Flags out and eyes open its time to be authentic and real...let the chaos rain!!! 2022 #1 Most Listened to Coversode - #18 with Jessica Ramirez

12/29/2022
This week IT'S HERE #1 Coversode of the year, #18 "Bellingham Is a Nice Racist Town" with Jessica Ramirez!!! Her amazing story resonated with so many. We interact with people on a daily basis as we walk around never fully engage in the lives that walk by. As a child of immigrants, she experiences the differences that can run deep in America. The willingness to be so openly vulnerable and share with the podcast left us feeling full. As her telling unfolded, behind the scenes a strong storm was trying to take the remote interview Wi-Fi signal out and cut the interview out completely. Such a great book to take the #1 spot!! He's a phenomenal guitarist, plus he can make DRINKS too!! We go on a roadtrip initially for what was one of our best interviews nobody will ever hear lol (sound check anyone). 12/20/2022
And just like that we're at #3...well after a few tech glitches. The third most listened to Coversode is #25 with Tara and Chris who became schoolies during Covid lockdown and the best part about this particular episode is that we'd never interviewed two people at one time before. With Creeper Cam on board for this ride it was sure to make for a bit of a crazy time...she's forever telling things to ask people things that we forgot to ask which is always fun to watch. What happens when was one of your guests knows all the ins and outs of the show (which is super dope) and the other one doesn't? You get some of the best titles that we've ever had lol. Top 5 Coversodes of 2022. #4 is Coversode #24 "My Art is My Activism" it's with the fiercely strong and compassionate Teme Wokoma. As stories go, she has bulldozed through life as a badass. This podcast always works to accommodate our guests and their time constraints. This week our guest took us for the time ride. Her story is so compelling, and could not be truncated. It was inspiring journey she took us on, so before you know it we were way beyond our allotted time. But her telling of her chapters required a measured rhythm only she could give it. 2022 #5 Most Listened to Coversode - #20 Kelsie Nabass

12/1/2022
Top 5 Coversodes of 2022. #5 is Coversode #20 "I Can Tell You What My Grandma Would Say" it's with the amazing and fabulous Kelsie Nabass. Kelsie is such a phenomenal person and we were so lucky to land her as a guest and she has such a friggin amazing story. But one of the things that happens in the podcast, I'm sure you guys know this already if you're a listener is that we tend to drink. We drink wine, we drink we shots. Sometimes we mix cocktails, and this particular episode ended up being a two-parter and it went over two hours. And you can hear yours truly here start to get heavily intoxicated, so much so that I actually started to call Kelsie something other than what is her actual name, and I didn't catch it and then once I caught it, I couldn't stop doing it LOL. So as you get into as you get into this episode, listen, listen closely, you'll start to hear it happen. And she was such a great sport about it. She's kind of let it go. But it's one of those things. It's behind the scenes that we just kind of ignore and we don't tell people about it. So get into #5 Coversode with Kelsie Nabbas. Enjoy!!! Support the show

Coversode #42 | Nobody Borrows Sugar Anymore

10/20/2022
Entering a new era on this Coversode, we're in the TCN studio with Creeper Cam and Creepier. Cocktails and wine bring the support this week. Lacking a twist of citrus and sparkling things open us into the story of Jay McGrath. Adjacency is key to the revolution...all HAIL NERDS. Jersey shore isn't holding his 4-year old self down, so it's off to Cali. Parental love and belief keeps him rolling along until aeronautics take flight in his heart of hearts but it's in the heart that dreams of being a pilot fade out. Not all is lost we discover because he's smart and only slightly angry as he manages to make a pivot. Black swans can be beautiful until they hit the aerospace jets, then they're just harbingers. Divergence on the path sees him doing less what gives back. There's power in being an adjacency magnet that really pulls gold, enter the genius of Alex. Our conversation becomes a seminar on technology's march toward a more sustainable future. Truly more nerdy than he let on. Cap'n Jay gets his own label, his brilliance is on fire with comprehension and compassion. He's out here to change the world one belief at a time. SHOUT OUT TO ALEX!!! 10/13/2022
This week we're bringing back an oldie but a goodie - our very entertaining interview with Chris Staudinger of @prettygrittytours. "Why?" you ask..... because he's back this week for our FIRST EVER Live-stream Killersode Evening on Saturday, Oct 15th at 6pm. Watch live on YouTube. We finally get it right straight out the gate. We're kickin' it this week with Chris of Pretty Gritty Tours. He's starts with his nomadic origins. How should we maneuver life? Apparently through dad jokes. Coversode #40 | If I Can Do It The Older Way I Will

10/6/2022
It's Coversode market night y'all. We start a chat with Spencer Ries, the right hand of right hands. Artistry can bring out the fan in all of us, what he knows is he's drawn to things that make him think. Young age lends itself to untimely or timely forays out and about. This is where discoveries are made and here's to opening up fixations of vintage curiosity. Coversode #39 Armour For Those That Dream of Vulnerability

9/29/2022
It starts out intricately in this week's Coversode conversation with Alexis Devine. Early journeys through school takes her to places unseen and makes life a thing to be experienced. Time away can bring ingenuity as papers need to speak to knowledge gained and matters taken into her own hands allows survival of the mind. Which way does one turn as opportunity knocks? She reaches for creativity with understanding it's not always who ya know, but how much more you know in the void of nothing. She's here to take us on a twirl of the world as an educational incubator with her badass genius. We get into how industries of service can make you a master, being creative for creativities sake is fuel that can burn bright. Human connectivity is complex but worth all the messiness. Love is found in the depths of where we're willing and open to meeting ourselves. Does drive equate to the passion of the direction we're headed? Squirrels and coyotes come out of the woods to reveal an artist's beautiful resonance in entrepreneurial spirit. Enter Bunny the being who guides her onto the path of fur mama heaven, and communication with buttons allowing a convergence which turns into a potent connection. There's beauty and power in being to being interrelationship dynamics, critics be damned...honestly do better people. Moira Rose may need a wig named Devine lol. Coversode #38 I Better Know What I'm Talking About

9/21/2022
Comin' in old school for this Coversode is Chris Pike, of our very own Chatter Network. He starts with a shoutout to his namesake, along with tons of familial love to go around. As we back into his childhood origins, it seems like separation of hearts can allow unity in hard circumstances. Luck abounds in the most unusual ways and adversity done in a somewhat easy manner opens the channel of communication. There's acknowledgement where children are concerned. As he moves up into his creation phase, friendships formed make the perfect brotherhood community...so problem solved. Conversation centers on motivation toward seeing others, journalistic hopes receive some truths, but dreams remain within the realms. Shout out to Olive Garden breadsticks!! PSA of truth is shared with a call for understanding. He gets in on the ground floor to supplement passions, time turns toward the magic of artistry of wrist pieces. Question is will he be ahead of his time?? No watch fetishes here. Looks like villains may emerge regardless because ease is everything. Coversode #37 My Kind of Sassy Attitude

9/15/2022
Opening this Coversode with grease, sauce, and deep Bronx roots of Tiffany Gomez. Being a mixture from so many, the twists and turns of creativity allows the cage door to open the core of her. She hears her calling young, as an only she finds joy in her tomboy ways. When left to one's devices the under pinnings of genius can start to bleed through. Rough edges conceal nothing, all hail masculinity...unless not. Mastering the architecture of the moment, love of how things go together, change comes and ideas blossom around the process. Tables turn without wasting a thing, and her desire to create out of the body of long held treasure. Questions asked, can we sustain this life? Stepping outside the limits, she strives to evolve her craft and speak out loud educating by way of example. We discuss how societal industry change can allow for a resurgence to breathe in honest ways. Offers are made while geeking out...we meant what we said when it was said. Coversode #35 It's Good on Paper, That's For Sure

8/31/2022
Struggle Bus Twins stumble into this week sweaty as all get out. Our guest Alon Leichman is chill though in what seems like an undisclosed location. Trust and understanding starts in a kibbutz of communal life with ties to American past times. As tides come all rise together. He talks time slots for rides, and how the beauty of this life can lead to payout for all. We get extra lost but he aids in the translation. Dawning comes over us as realization sets in how lucky we truly are. Yes, we're speaking for all Americans...not that anyone asked. Origins of his baseball love come as blasts out the past, videos lend knowledge to his skills in Israel, and dreams grow to reality. Mandatory layover slows the progress of his aspirations but it builds on the integrity of what lies within. With blessings there can also be curses, life lessons may someday lead to change, but let's digress. His road to the pros involves having his accent on lock, he finds himself at a crossroads and pitches full tilt into coaching what he knows. Possibilities are mapped out in his choice of choices, yet it turns out he's incredibly versatile. We hold out hope to get our own ice cream flavor, which may require we hit the field to get our lactose on.
