Mr Terrific For Dummies

In this episode, we're joined by Matt B Lloyd, to answer the question 'Who is Mr Terrific?'. First appearing for DC Comics in 1942, Mr Terrific is actually two different characters, with the second appearing in 1997. Both found their way to crimefighting in unexpected ways but quickly grew into the role. Created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, Dick first appeared in comic books in April 1940, Detective Comics #38. He quickly became the very first Robin, assisting Batman in his crime-fighting adventures. Dick has become a fan favourite, with a generation of comic book readers identifying with the young man's struggles to find his own path in life.
