Half United is a for-profit philanthropic company that puts helping others above profit. Selling “socially good goods,” Half United works with artisans in developing countries to produce one-of-a-kind items. This leads to gainful employment in places that are in desperate need of opportunities. Now, Half United works in 8 different countries producing a variety of items. Carmin is constantly on the look-out on how to adapt trends that are in high demand that can be made in developing countries, instead of large manufacturing facilities.
