Tom was assigned to E290 right out of probie school in September of 1982. In 1990 he went on to L123 where he retired from in 1996. Greg was appointed in 1990 to E-252 at the time, which we all know now, as Squad 252. Paul was appointed to the FDNY in 1995, where he was assigned to Ladder 172. A year later he went to Engine 299, then to Engine 67, then in 1998 he went to squad 288, ultimately ending up in Rescue 3. Commissioner Tucker graduated from George Washington University and Pace University School of Law. Following law school, he worked as special assistant to the District Attorney in Queens County, Richard A. Brown. In 1999 he became chairman and CEO of T&M Protection Resources, a company specializing in security, intelligence and investigations. In 2007 he restructured T&M as a limited liability company and sold a minority interest to Pegasus Capital Advisors as well as another private investor. In 2024 he accepted the position as the 35th Fire Commissioner of the City of New York (FDNY), the largest fire department in the United States. This appointment, by the Mayor of New York City, recognized his reputation as a highly successful businessman able to build strong foundations to foster collaboration and growth. In his role as one of the chief risk management executives in New York City, he was responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the nation’s most complex public safety agency, with roughly 18,000 personnel, including firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, fire marshals and fire prevention inspectors, and a multibillion-dollar budget. He has served on various boards including the New York City Police Foundation, Pace University and White Plains Hospital. After 5 years he transferred across the floor to Ladder 19 and stayed there until his retirement in 2003. He also became the Bronx trustee for the Union from 1996 to 1999. Eng 50 and Lad 19 have a proud legacy of being one of the busiest firehouses in the city and creating some of the best fireman the FDNY has ever had. Going to be another great show. Chief was appointed to the FDNY in September of 1991 and was assigned to ladder 25. In December of 2002 Joe was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to the 7th division. In 2004 he was assigned to Ladder 41. A few years later in March of 07, Joe was promoted to Captain and was assigned to the 1st. division. In July of 2008, Joe was assigned to ladder 10, downtown. But he didn't stop there, in November of 2010 he was promoted to BC and was assigned back to the 7th division. In 2014, Joe was assigned to the Safety Battalion and in 2016 was an executive officer, car12a. Joe retired in 2020 and is the current Chief of Department for the Greenwich, CT. Fire Department. Jack joined the FDNY in March of 1965 and was assigned to Engine 7 out of Probie school. From there he went to Engine 219 in late 1965, then in 1966 he went to Engine 283. The following year he went to Squad 4 where he was "allegedly" lifted. In 1970 he did some time in Truck 111 and in 1971, was detailed, then transferred to Rescue 2. In 1977 he was assigned to Rescue 4. Assigned BFI in 1978, and retired in 1988. After his retirement he continued to investigate fires and is currently a Peer Counselor with FDNY's counseling unit. We are sure he hasn't seen any fires and probably doesn't have any real good stories to share. We will get the whole skinny on Jack's career. You don’t want to miss this one.
