Gillian Ferrabee began her career as a professional dancer and actor. She toured Europe and North America with innovative dance and theatre companies for over 15 years, as well as performed in films, television series, and commercials. In 2004, Gillian joined Cirque du Soleil’s casting team and was appointed the artistic casting director for The Beatles’ LOVE show which also made her responsible for casting all international touring shows. In 2012, Gillian was promoted to Director of the Creative Lab of Cirque du Soleil Media, where she led a team in developing a wide range of projects, such as the video game “Child of Light” with Ubisoft, the animated series “Luna Petunia” for Netflix, and the Emmy-award winning VR short “Inside The Box: Kurios” for Samsung. In 2017, Gillian founded the innovation agency Kite Parade, which blends her years of experience in storytelling, creative direction and large-scale production with her knowledge of transformational leadership. Gillian is a wise soul, who is so generous with her experiences and enthusiastic about helping creatives actualize their goals and ambitions.
