We also delve into our own experiences with sports, whether we consider ourselves competitive or not and reveal Karl's inner drive for vengeance when wronged.

In this episode we talk all things subtitles/dubbing/cc/etc and how they can have an effect on our viewing experience. We jump into things with Run Lola Run, the 1998 German experimental action crime thriller directed by Tom Tykwer. We have seen this one before however as a twist, we turn the subtitles off (none of us know German) and see how much we can still get out of this film.

We also discuss experiences with eBay, visiting Canada, strange childhood memories, and that time Karl ran into his Kindergarten teacher at the worst possible time. What a fright!

Kicking things off we start with "Her", the 2013 sci-fi-/drama/romance that deals with the concepts of relationships, loneliness, life, artificial intelligence and more. It's also an interesting look at the portrayal of AI a little over ten years ago and lets us compare it against the reality that it is today.
