The Best Films of 2020 - Ep #100 special

It's the most wonderful time of the year.... end of year list time!! In this annual tradition Nigel and Páraic run through their respective best films of the year in a 12 month block like no other, and work out what their combined favourite film of 2020 was.


Films for lockdown #2

We believe we can fly right back to 1996 to take on the Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny opus 'Space Jam', Nigel review new on-demand releases 'Never Rarely Sometimes Always' and 'The Assistant', and Páraic takes on 'Extraction' and 'The Wrong Missy'. And we remember Lynn Shelton and Fred Willard.


American Psycho (Social Distancing Cinema #1)

4 weeks into shut cinemas, we're remote-recording to dip into a film that is considered a modern classic - 2000's 'American Psycho' from director Mary Harron and starring Christian Bale. We also go through some of the other random stuff we've been watching from Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime.


Coronavirus and Cinema.....

We try to make sense of what is going on in the world around the coronavirus pandemic, and how this affects cinema-going, on-demand viewing at home and the entire cinema industry. Amidst this we also review 'The Invisible Man', 'Portrait of a Lady on Fire' and 'Colour out of Space' and remember Max von Sydow.
