@Telesomm Wine Pro-Tips with Katarina

11/10/2021
We hope you got a taste for Italian wine, travel, and learning about the wine world from Katarina in her Telesomm #SommStory -- for this episode we hope you learn more from this wine pro, as Katarina answered the following questions: "I don’t think there is one kind of wine to like. I think everyone can like wine. Everyone doesn’t need to be super knowledgeable about wine. It’s also important to just like wine. I don’t think you have to describe wine according to these parameters that have been constructed all these years.” ~Katarina Andersson, Grapevine AdventuresWe just learned so much from Katarina's Q&A we couldn't help to take a few tasting notes: SalernoChianti ClassicoChianti Wine: The Pride of TuscanyChianti vs. Chianti Classico – How Do They Differ?The Medici FamilySan GiulioNebbioloDeconstructing the language of wine to attract new consumersThe Language of WineGlossary of Wine TermsWhere does the word "wine" come from?How to Become a SommelierWine Folly’s GuideKatarina’s Wine StoryKatarina’s Wine Blog---- Want to learn more about Telesomm? @Telesomm Wine Pro-Tips with Christopher

11/4/2021
Wine-Pro Tip from @Telesomm Christopher: When it comes to drinking wine in general, I hear people say I can’t drink red wine because the sulfite gives me a red wine headache but they’ll grab a bottle of pinot grigio or Chardonnay. My knowledge bomb is white wines have more sulfites than red wines. If you get a headache from red wine it is probably not the sulfites. Maybe learn about Mega Purple. For this quick Q&A, here are the questions our Telesomm wine pro, Christopher, answered: organicbiodynamic“My card says I am a sales representative, I consider myself a storyteller. 10/19/2021
Tesh Diyal’s roots in hospitality can really be traced back to his mom. His restaurant experience however, started from his time working at Morton’s the Steakhouse. Tesh moved on to other restaurants in California, including Piatti, Ella Dining Room and Bar, and then he graduated to become the Sommelier at the Kitchen for almost 4 years. Tesh then transitioned into wine sales to focus on growing his family, and after a year of selling wine to restaurants, he found himself furloughed due to the pandemic. That leads to now! Tesh is excited to put wines in front of you, your friends, and you family that you may not have or even known about before! His goal truly is to bridge the gap between good people and good wine!
