You Know The Place

To close out the 6th season, LD & Joel make a trip to American Ostrich Farms. We know what you're thinking and we have a few answers: yes, it's red meat, no, you can't ride them and, surprise, it actually doesn't taste like chicken.

Yes yes yes, we all know the zoo. And if you don't, well please get acquainted. But hasn't the kid in you always wondered: What's the zoo like after all the people leave? You know, at dark. We had to find out. Also: we did this little diddy in collaboration with the news team at Boise State Public Radio for their series After Dark – go check it out!

LD & Joel are determined to figure out who is behind the hundreds of marble sculptures in that parking lot along Overland. Little do they know, the sculptures are only the beginning. Also: No "nudities" out front, inside, upstairs or maybe even in Idaho?

LD & Joel pack up the pillows and blankets for a trip out to Parma where they meet the "Popcorn Queen" herself and get an extra show from above in the midnight sky.

Joel & LD kick out of the studio and ollie their way downtown in this one. Who are we kidding? That is not true because this is not that kind of podcast, people. Our hosts are in their 30s, for goodness sake! But if they learned anything here, it's this: There's no lying in skateboarding.

Season 5 is here, and boy have we missed you all. These are _____ times, friends. (weird, sad, scary — fill in the blank.) If you're looking for some sense of normalcy, then tag along to Garden Valley where Joel & LD compile a team of elite* athletes to compete in a cutthroat* winter sport: snolfing. (*Because this is Joel & LD we're talking about, nothing they do is elite or cutthroat — more like severely average and kinda cute.)

While we're putting together the next season of You Know The Place, we thought you might enjoy a YKTP-inspired project hosted by a 7-year-old superfan, his dad, and his baby brother. Season 5 drops Thursday, April 2! Keep your eyes (and ears) out!
