On April 16, 2019 Peter London lost his life at Palm Beach International Raceway. He was coaching from the passenger seat of a Lamborghini street car. Peter was a good friend and a great racer and coach. His loss is devastating to his family, friends and the the motorsport community, especially in Florida where he was most active. In this episode I talk about the events surrounding the crash that took Peter's life and the attitude that needs to be taken by everyone involved in motorsports to help avoid another tragic loss.

Craig Stanton is a championship winning racecar driver, the fittest man in motorsports and someone who truly embodies the philosphy of a positive mental attitude. Craig is a Southern California native who has raced it all: two wheels, four wheels, off road, on road, sprint and endurance. His lifelong dedication to physical fitness, mental conditioning and philosophical balance is what has allowed him to achieve success, and earned him the utmost respect of his compitetors. He's a mentor to me, whether he realizes it or not and has forgotten more about what it takes to "make it" than most young drivers today will ever know. Efrain is currently responsible for Mazda Motorsports PR efforts within IMSA and the Battery Tender Global MX5 Cup series. Previously he worked for Ferrari Motorsports North America in a simillar role and he talks about the different approaches and goals of companies like Ferrari and Mazda with their racing efforts. Efrain also races vintage cars and talks a little bit about that world, and debunks the perception that it's wildly expensive or inaccesable. He also talks about how to spot someone who's cheating and the penalties imposed when there's little to no post-race tech inspection. We talk about his upcoming book about the greatest trophy in racing, the Rolex Daytona Chronograph, and the process of researching and interviewing drivers for the book. He recalls a moment when he realizes that he's probably the only one in the room who knows the dollar value of one of the time pieces being handed to him, and feeling very uncomfortable about the thoughts running through his head at that moment.
