Options to Successfully Manage PPC Costs with Michael Erickson Facchin, Ep. #159

Managing PPC campaigns on Amazon is one of the most effective methods to drive sales. If done well, it can be extremely profitable, but if not done well, it can also be an absolute drain on your profits. The other challenge is that as you grow, it can become incredibly time-consuming, but the good news is that there are many options to help you run your ad campaigns more effectively (and free up your time to focus on other important activities). In this episode, Michael Erickson Facchin from AdBadger comes on to discuss different ways that sellers can better manage their ads. Optimal Pricing Strategies with Ali Babul, Ep. #158

12/22/2022
Do you have the right price for your product? It can have a huge effect on your profitability and how many units you sell. Sounds easy enough to pick your price and make sure that you have the margins leftover (and the market will support people buying at that price). The reality is that there is a lot that can go into successful pricing strategies, and I am excited to welcome Ali Babul from Trellis to discuss. Merchant Fulfilled Prime (FBA Alternatives) with Manish Chowdhary, Ep. #153

11/3/2022
Over the last few years, Amazon has thrown a few curveballs at sellers with inventory restrictions and sometimes conflicting metrics with FBA inventory. Going into the Q4 of 2022, many sellers have had their allowable inventory levels cut by half (or more). This has made looking into additional fulfillment options more important. I had the opportunity to be on a panel about inventory and logistics at Surge Summit with my guest, Manish Chowdhary. Manish runs a network of warehouses that can provide seller-fulfilled prime and could be a great potential option for some sellers. At the time we recorded this episode, we didn’t know Amazon was going to cut inventory restock levels as much as they did… Connect with Manish Cahoot.aiLinkedIn Connect with Kevin Facebook GroupInstagram LinkedIn

Using Airtable to Manage Your Business with Barak Almog, Ep #151

10/3/2022
One of my favorite tools is Airtable. It is a database system that can be used for a ton of stuff and can be customized and integrated with many other applications. Pretty much if there is not an existing software tool to do something you want, you can find a way to do it in Airtable. In this episode, we welcome Barak Almog from Seller Frame to the podcast because he is an absolute whiz with Airtable. We geeked out on Airtable, but if you are a beginner to this software tool, don’t let our enthusiasm intimidate you. It is a simple program to use! Increase the Results of Your Amazon Funnel with Steven Pope, Ep #144

Your funnel on Amazon breaks down into three basic variables: Impressions, Clicks, and Purchases. Recently, Amazon has added Add To Cart as another variable to start keeping an eye on. In this episode, Steven Pope comes on to share what he calls the ICAP funnel on Amazon, and he shares a case study using some fairly new reports. This episode does get a bit technical, but you will learn some helpful insights into how increasing your results at each step of the funnel will lead to higher sales (and profits). Protecting Your Business Assets with Matt Lovell, Ep #143

7/19/2022
Having spent several years in the insurance industry, I know that insurance is one of those subjects that no one likes to talk about (but they need to). It is an uncomfortable topic because it is confusing and focuses on a bunch of what-ifs and potentially bad things that you hope never happen. With that said, I have seen how people have been saved by their insurance policy when something goes wrong, and others who wish they had the right type of insurance and had to shell out enormous sums of money out of their own pocket. In eCommerce, you can get a policy, and the insurance company will gladly take your money. BUT if the policy isn’t structured correctly, you could be rejected if, God forbid, something bad happened that caused you to need to actually use your policy. That is why I am excited to bring on Matt Lovell from Well Insurance, and Matt has been my agent for 5 years. Connect with Matt Well Insurance Connect with Kevin Facebook GroupInstagram LinkedIn

Saving Time and Money Using Amazon PPC Bulk Files with Elizabeth Greene, Ep #142

7/12/2022
It can be challenging to stay on top of your Amazon PPC campaigns. There is so much to stay on top of, and information coming from several different reports. Plus, there are so many screens to click through just to do simple tasks like adding a keyword or changing a bid. At one point, I was about ready to give up on PPC until I discovered bulk files. They have the information you need in one place, and once you get the hang of them, they can cut it down to just a fraction of the amount of time it takes for the campaign manager. (And it is a completely free tool) To help you get the hang of bulk files (or get tips on how to better manage your campaigns with them), I am excited to bring on Elizabeth Greene who is an absolute whiz at bulk files (or Bulk Operations Templates as they are more officially known). Earlier this year, I got the pleasure of sharing the stage at Prosper Show with my guest, Brandon Fuhrmann. He has built quite the international empire for himself, and he is also the co-founder of an event for high level sellers called, AMZ Innovate. We talked about what Brandon has learned on his journey, and it turns out that we worked at Walt Disney World at the same time (might have even bumped into each other). “Small world” as they say… Listen to this episode for actionable advice from a high-level seller with an amazing network of 7, 8, and 9 figure sellers.
