By 2030, seniors are expected to take up over 20 percent of the population, according to the U.S Census Bureau. That number (about 20 percent) remains the same for the year 2050, but given how many people are projected to be living in the U.S. by that time, it’s expected more than 80 million seniors will be living in the U.S. by then. The need for home care providers is increasing.The boom in seniors who will need care will create an exorbitant need for more professionals as well as a massive amount of new facilities. In this episode, I will talk about the variety of business opportunities that are available for Certified Nursing Assistant's and Certified Medication Technician's. As the baby boomer generation age, the desire to remain in their homes has increased. Which creates a demand for quality homecare services. CNA's and CMT's have a specialized skillset that allows them to position themselves as expert caregivers. Now is the best time to start a private duty company.

These challenges includes shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Inadequate COVID-19 testing capabilities and novel legal, employment and licensure concerns.
