Aimee has decided she is done keeping plants alive and has gone all-fake in her house. Shawn schlepped the kids all the way across the valley only to be told he couldn't go in the doctor's appointment: one parent only. What a stupid policy. Should the TSA check to see if the kid you are traveling with is yours? Aimee is mad they didn't check when she flew with Jayden. Plus the unbelievably dumb ad that Shawn got while playing a game will make your eyes roll hard.

Shawn brought his kids to Costco on Saturday. NEVER bring your kids (or yourself) to Costco on Saturday. They nearly got killed. While they were there, Shawn's youngest wanted "moon bread". Take a guess what that was. Aimee, meanwhile, was at a graduation party that had the cops called on it TWICE! Plus, Caitlin Clark got flat out abused during a game this weekend. We are so excited for the WNBA, but this type of stuff annoys us.

Why is it that we wake up before our alarm just close enough to annoy us? Shawn is trying to get his dog to bark on command after years of telling him to stop. He has no shot. Our co-worker Slone was, unbeknownst to her, featured on a new Netflix documentary. Our question is WHERE IS HER CHECK? Plus freaking out our listeners has us talking about the most annoying times we've been pulled over.

Shawn almost watched a dirt biker meet his maker after blowing through a red light in Mountain's Edge. Yikes. Aimee is disappointed in her younger self for playing with a Barbie she got as a gift... because it is worth $10,000 now. Facebook Marketplace has been hit by a scourge of thirst traps. Women wearing scantily clad women to sell ordinary items. Hmm. Plus how can Aimee getting a skin treatment remind her of murder and getting rid of bodies? WHO HURT HER?

Aimee signed up for hot yoga! Great! Just one problem... she isn't going to the classes because she is nervous. Shawn's son got his dental expander in... and wow. It's a medieval torture device. How are we still here in 2024? Aimee's son Roman is lying through his adorable little teeth. Why do kids lie when it is so obvious they are liars? Plus, Shawn is starting to think he was flirted with... four days ago. Was he? Or is he reading too much into it?

Aimee's son had his electric bike stolen. Although... he did leave it out in the open with the key still in it... so was it stolen or gifted? Shawn tried fixing something on his house, but created a much bigger issue. Aimee went through the entire Hunger Games saga over the weekend. Is there a particular trilogy or movie saga that is binge-worthy? Plus Shawn's son didn't get a participation trophy and Shawn is absolutely thrilled about it.

Aimee's son Jayden was invited to a sick graduation party. Mom said it was cool! Dad, however, put the kibosh on it. Meanwhile Shawn's son flipped the bird at some kids at the playground. Except one problem... he doesn't really understand what it means. Yet another TikTok shop flop for Aimee...

Aimee started crying watching a kid she doesn't know thank her parents at a high school graduation party. Her husband cried at the movie "If". Shawn teared up over Red Lobster filing bankruptcy. Sometimes we cry for silly reasons... Shawn is getting ready to take on his HOA over a gate in his community. Will he win? Turns out Aimee's son has a Finsta he's been hiding from her. And he continues to hide it.

When Shawn was emceeing an event over the weekend, he was convinced he knew a familiar face in the crowd. But he couldn't place him. Turns out... he had given that guy TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars. Aimee and Shawn have been getting tough questions from their kids. We know the answers... but we don't know how to break the news to them. Red Lobster posted something about their bankruptcy on Facebook that nearly made Shawn cry. Plus... Taylor Swift has a hickey.

Today is a BIG day. After missing his son's piano recital due to some absolutely RIDICULOUS shenanigans, today Colin comes on the show for a do-over piano recital for not just his dad but the WHOLE VALLEY. Will the 7 year old rise to the occasion? Aimee's son got "extra" screening at TSA both going to and coming back from Anaheim. What the... why? What is in his crotch? Shawn got infuriated at a woman who was on the phone at a nail shop for an HOUR. Plus, the annoyance of getting directions from people who are bad at giving directions.

Aimee is back from Disneyland and she's got stories! And they are all magical except for the flight. Shawn is heartbroken because he missed his son's piano recital because of a ridiculous miscommunication. But... he's going to make it right tomorrow on the show. Aimee's son kissed a girl on the arm in preschool in what used to be considered a sweet moment... but is now considered problematic.

We found out that Roman, Aimee's son, thinks she talks about cheese for a living. He's not WRONG per se... It is photo day (again) for Shawn's boys. MAN if you get a photo every time there is a photo day you're going to go broke quick. But, as Aimee points out, time goes by fast. Soak it in. One of our listeners is trying to do just that and had an odd request to have a last bit of bonding with her son... bring back 5 Easy Questions?

Shawn had to punish his son for something that happened while he didn't have him. How do you punish when co-parenting? Didn't see it, don't assess the penalty? Aimee's high school reunion is coming up and some people are crowing that it costs $40... with drink tickets, a band, a photo booth and a buffet. Huh. Overcoming public speaking is a huge deal and Shawn was there to help a young kid do just that. Plus we put Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker on the tee and kick the crap out of him for his commencement address.

Aimee is back! Meanwhile Shawn's got some bummer news about what happened over the weekend. During her time off, Aimee decided to swipe through several videos of...opossums. Her algorithm is a MESS. Shawn had a trip to Pittsburgh over the weekend and he was greeted by security carrying super large guns exchanging pleasantries while meandering around. What the hell, Pittsburgh? Do final exams matter? The elders believe so but it appears as though they don't matter as much as they used to.

Aimee was off today, but our listener and super-texter Jessica Rassier sat in! Jessica has been trying to save money by giving her husband haircuts... which was working for a while until just lately. Things got BAD. Someone KEEPS STEALING Shawn's home security sign in his front yard and now he's got a sting operation to find the perp.

Mother's Day is right around the corner... so what does mom REALLY want for her day? Some want EVERYONE around to celebrate them. Others want them all to go away for the day. Plus Romie brought a cool monster truck home from Pre-K. Only one issue: it's not his.

It was definitely a "Monday Wednesday" today. But, alas, here we are. It turns out that Aimee DOES need a CT scan. But she can't talk to anyone competent to see what she needs to do for it.
