Hot, Bothered, and High: Work Stress, Budweiser Gripes, and the Allure of the Oblivious Nerd

5/25/2023
Hold onto your pu**y as you dive into this wild ride of an episode with Bobby and Jim in "Not Well." In this multifaceted chat, our hosts unapologetically traverse through the twists and turns of workplace stress, unorthodox relaxation techniques, and some, shall we say, "unique" recreational activities. Starting off, Bobby and Jim share their trials and tribulations of spearheading a new project at work, interspersed with some hilarious anecdotes about the side effects of a "high" stress relief session. Who knew a broken glass could prompt such deep introspection about our responses to mistakes? Next, they transport you to Freedom Valley, a campground that invites you to shed your inhibitions, and, apparently, your clothes too. Listen as they describe the liberating experience of skinny-dipping and how it sparked a nude revolution among the camp-goers. The hosts then pivot to consumerism and capitalism, as they navigate through discussions on their recent shopping sprees, exorbitant restaurant bills, and critique of a Budweiser ad that got their eyes rolling. Brace yourself for a candid debate on the commercialization of Pride Month and the pitfalls of performative activism, revealing a side of the corporate world that many of us fail to recognize. And, just when you thought they couldn't cover more ground, Bobby and Jim dig into the frustration of America's socio-economic landscape, specifically addressing the issues of healthcare, savings, and financial instability. Their thoughts on Gen Z's approach to personal wellness and the abandoning of traditional retirement structures add a whole new layer to the conversation. They then navigate the fascinating world of attraction, particularly the pull towards 'nerdy hot guys,' adding a touch of humor and relatability to the complexities of relationships and social interactions. Finally, the episode concludes with a sprinkle of self-discovery amid astrological reflections and a venting session about the exasperating journey to get a SIM card issue resolved. In essence, this episode is a rollercoaster of emotions, a medley of thoughtful critiques, humorous anecdotes, and raw honesty. It's a testament to Bobby and Jim's ability to turn every conversation into a blend of enlightenment and entertainment. Join them in this wild ride because, as they say, we're all 'Not Well,' but we're doing just fine. Drag Queens, Drive-Thrus & Disaster: The Ultimate 'Not Well' Journey

3/22/2023
Welcome to this week's hilarious and disastrous episode of "Not Well" with your favorite dynamic duo, Bobby and Jim. Starting off with a recording mishap, this episode is full of chaos, laughter, and a hint of existential crisis. Fresh from a boozy St. Patrick's Day happy hour, Bobby decides an edible is just what the doctor ordered. As they realize their recording mishap, the conversation turns to Bobby's upcoming trip to a gay campground called Camp Buckwood in Indiana. Jim warns Bobby to watch out for Mike Pence and "Mother" while he's there, and they banter about milkmaids and lead paint makeup. Jim spirals into a deep, dark place as he laments the difficulty of meeting new people in Columbus. He's convinced that everyone moves away and lives amazing lives, but Bobby reminds him that life is monotonous. They discuss astronomical bar tabs and why they should pay for themselves instead of a group of people. The conversation shifts to old women talk shows like Drew Barrymore's, with Jim insisting that she's old. Bobby reminds him that maybe he's just getting old, too. Speaking of mortality, they share their current adult situations about choosing their end-of-life options. The topic takes a sharp turn into the realm of student council and singing for old people at the nursing home. Bobby admits he's actually scared of old people and special needs individuals, while Jim shares his own nursing home horror story involving cleaning old people after bathroom breaks. They reminisce about the good old days when Nina West and her drag mother, Virginia West, were regulars in Columbus. They even discuss a new restaurant in Grandview where Virginia now works, and marvel at her crazy life and sleep schedule. The episode takes an emotional turn when "Mike" calls in from Florida, mourning his friend who died in Cleveland. He talks about his husband, a lawyer who spends too much money. Bobby thinks he sounds hot, but Jim thinks he sounds sad. Jim goes off the rails, discussing bachelorette parties infiltrating obscure gay bars and how it's offensive, but also acknowledging the need for equality and safe spaces. This leads to a tailspin about his desire to move and feeling trapped in his current life. The show takes a humorous turn as they play a Twitter post from a local Columbus man who wants to be humiliated by other men. Jim hits the metaphorical eject button, insisting no straight guy will ever like him, and Bobby suggests he write poetry again to reconnect with himself. They wrap up with sundries, with Bobby talking about bad service at fast food drive-throughs and Jim discussing Gen Z dressing up like '90s kids. In the end, "Not Well" delivers a wild ride full of laughter, nostalgia, and a touch of introspection. In a recent uproarious episode of "Not Well with Bobby and Jim," our dynamic duo dished on their lives, from business ventures to nail painting, and even discovering new kinks. Subscribers are flocking, possibly due to their scandalous collaboration with "slutty puffing," and Bobby's Blue Mouth Media is taking the world by storm. But it's not all fun and games; they also tackle the hypocrisy of Tennessee's Lieutenant Governor and his anti-LGBTQ+ crusade, while secretly leaving supportive comments on gay Instagram posts. Sneaky! The hosts keep the laughs rolling, discussing an exotic cat high on cocaine in Ohio, their experience at a soccer game, and the bizarre restroom situation at the event. From mysterious Havana Syndrome to the manipulation of information by news networks, they stress the importance of critical thinking and questioning what we're fed by the media. As they dive into vulnerability and self-discovery, the speaker opens up about their struggles with acceptance as a homosexual and the masks they wear in different situations. 3/8/2023
The Not Well Podcast is back with another hilarious and unfiltered episode! Hosts Bobby and Jim are ready to spill the tea on everything from their recent trip to Park City Utah to their thoughts on annoying runners and bikers taking over the roads. The episode starts off with the hosts discussing their recent encounter with a listener who was concerned about their content being too risqué. Bobby and Jim assure their listeners that they are a proud gay podcast that discusses hard-hitting topics, and they won't back down from being their true, authentic selves. Next up, the hosts dive into their recent trip to Columbus, where they met their idol of four years, Slutty Puffin, and his husband Whitaker. The trio hit it off immediately and spent 45 minutes talking and sharing drinks. A bear, an otter, and a puffin waddle into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, "What is this, some kind of gay animal joke?" But the hosts don't stop there. They also discuss their thoughts on annoying runners and bikers who take over the roads, making it difficult for drivers and pedestrians alike. Bobby and Jim share their frustrations and call for these groups to find alternative places to exercise. And of course, no Not Well Podcast episode would be complete without a few sundries. Jim calls out runners and bikers again, while Bobby shares his latest idea to travel the world and film drone shots of the top 12 gay campgrounds in America. Finally, the hosts tease their upcoming plans to attend Jinkx Monsoon's show in July. They're already dressed in their Not Well gear and ready to go, hoping to catch Jinkx's attention with their fabulous outfits and energy. Do we know you? Yea...You Touched My Husbands D*ck Last Weekend

2/15/2023
NOT WELL / GAY PODCAST / EPISODE 186 Remember last episode when we were going to go out and "get in trouble" - well we did and you won't believe what happened. On the episode of Not Well, we talk about idiot Republicans, Harry Potter, gross YouTube podcasters, conservative people, fat alcohol syndrome, and being fat in general. Some Highlights (or lowlights) Marjorie Taylor Greene made a State of the Union stunt, carrying a white balloon in reference to Republican criticism of Joe Biden's handling of a Chinese surveillance balloon. However, the balloon saga ended when it was shot down off the Carolinas on Saturday. The phenomenon of "sick zoning" is when a partner takes care of their sick significant other, resulting in the partner being seen as weak and unappealing. This dynamic can create a caregiver and dependent relationship, where the partner who is not sick takes on a more nurturing role. The caregiver may become preoccupied with the sick partner's well-being and only see them as someone who needs help, rather than an equal partner. This can lead to a loss of attraction and desire, as well as a lack of emotional and physical intimacy in the relationship. Allie Beth Stuckey is a conservative commentator, author, and podcaster who aims to help young women think critically and biblically about the world around them. She is known for her book "You're Not Enough (& That's Okay): Escaping the Toxic Culture of Self-Love," which challenges society's popular cultural myths and offers truthful alternatives found in the Bible. Stuckey started her career in 2016 with a Facebook page called "The Conservative Millennial" and has since contributed to various media outlets, including Fox News and BlazeTV. She currently hosts the podcast "Relatable," where she analyzes culture, news, politics, and theology from a Christian, conservative perspective. Several thousand gay men set off on a week-long vacation cruise, organized by Atlantis Events on the Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas ship, through the Caribbean. The cruise promised guests a week of social mixers, late-night dance parties, and performances from entertainers like Todrick Hall and Billy Porter. The trip can be an annual pilgrimage for many gay men who want to unwind in a fun and sexually liberated setting with members of their community. However, guests were warned about a new policy that prohibited them from posting anything sexually explicit on social media, or risk being asked to leave the ship without a refund. The policy was created by Atlantis Events and Royal Caribbean following previous incidents where explicit videos filmed by passengers went viral. Our upcoming shows, which will be taped in Park City, promise to be full of fun guests, interesting ideas, and overall craziness that will leave you entertained and informed. So stay tuned, and get ready to join us for an adventure you won't forget! Driving and Wine-ing with the Pringles Can Lady: Navigating Chinese Balloons and Nervous Breakdowns

2/8/2023
On this episode of Not, Well, Bobby and Jim dive into the hot-button issue of police shootings and question whether it's more of a cop problem than a race problem. With the endless stream of incidents making headlines, the guys can't help but wonder who is becoming cops and what is causing this apparent surge in excessive force. With their signature wit and humor, Bobby and Jim will have you laughing and thinking at the same time, as they tackle this important and timely topic. So sit back, grab a glass of wine (or a can of Pringles), and join the hilarious and thought-provoking conversation on this latest episode of Not, Well. Additionally, Bobby and Jim delve into this hilarious yet concerning situation, questioning why this woman felt comfortable drinking wine from a Pringles can in the middle of a Walmart parking lot. They humorously ponder the idea of being banned from Walmart for drinking on the job. The guys also discuss the strange phenomenon of people drinking in public places Recently, the news about the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down by a U.S. fighter jet off the coast of South Carolina had everyone talking. The comical take on the situation was no exception, as late-night comedians, such as Chelsea Handler and Seth Meyers, along with Jimmy Fallon and James Corden, all had a field day with the situation. Bobby and Jim also joined in on the fun, poking humor at the balloon incident. Not as funny as those late night comedians. Comedians and late-night talk show hosts have had a field day with the recent news of the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down by a US fighter jet off the coast of South Carolina. Chelsea Handler kicked off her week hosting "The Daily Show" with a series of jokes about the incident. She quipped about President Biden, saying "Obama got to order the assassination of bin Laden, and all he gets to do is murder a bag of helium." and "And, as you heard, this balloon was the size of three buses. I love measuring things in buses." Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, and James Corden also weighed in with their own witty comments about the balloon, with Meyers saying "The only way this balloon could have had a higher profile is if it had its own Instagram account." and Fallon jokingly saying "The balloon floated from Montana to South Carolina. Somehow it got across the country faster than someone flying Southwest." These comedians have certainly found a way to bring humor to a strange and unexpected situation. We also talk about Bobby having a nervous breakdown that actually ended up being therapeutic, even though his therapist thinks he should be at a psychiatrist sooner rather than later. Bobby is also talking about his spending habits lately. He can't pass up a deal but he has to start... Jim hates pleated pants and can't understand why people are wearing them again. Bobby then admits his secret fantasy about white underwear and business suits. He also mentions his grandfather asking him if he likes girls and if he's ever had a girlfriend before. Bobby also talks about how he's a math business lesbian and how he looks like a lesbian math teacher and completely owns it. Instead of using a middleman to communicate, Jim also encourages individuals to speak directly with their friends or coworkers.
