Yet, as the recently published findings of the Jo Cox Foundation’s Civility Commission highlight, a more inclusive, fairer, and kinder public space is possible. To explore how we have reached a point of toxic politics, and how we can move beyond it, Cumberland Lodge is pleased to host a conversation with Hannah Phillips, Consultant with the Jo Cox Foundation, who has led on the work of the Civility Commission, and Jess Phillips, Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley, who has been on the receiving end of much abuse in her political career.
