Dick Kittle, who has been working at Wilmington Friends School since 1975 in a variety of roles, joined the Quaker Matters Podcast. Sarah Schenck Maheshwari ’91, who currently serves as the Executive Director for ChristianaCare’s Center for Virtual Health, joined the Quaker Matters Podcast. Every February, with the support from our diversity committee and librarians, Wilmington Friends lower school students participate in a Black History Month project. Each class and/or grade chooses one important African-American figure to learn about, typically connecting to the class’s interest or the curriculum. Shirley Padmore Mensah ’87, who currently serves as the Chief Judge at United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, joined the Quaker Matters Podcast.
