SLP 467: Self Love Quicky – What is Aromatherapy?
4/2/2025
Aromatherapy is one of my absolute favourite healing modalities – it’s natural, powerful, and deeply rooted in history. For over 4000 years, plants and their potent extracts have been used for medicine, beauty, and ritual. From the ancient Egyptians, including the legendary Cleopatra, to biblical references of frankincense and myrrh, essential oils have played an integral role in human health and wellbeing. In this week’s Quicky I share what it is and how it works!
All the essential oils mentioned in this show can be found at www.twenty8.com.

Quotes: The magic lies in the chemistry of essential oils. Our sense of smell is one of the most powerful ways to experience aromatherapy. Inhaling essential oils can reduce cortisol levels, improve focus, and even aid sleep. Applying essential oils to the skin allows their therapeutic properties to enter the bloodstream. Essential oils are nature’s medicine cabinet. As powerful as they are, essential oils must be used wisely. Aromatherapy is far from a passing trend – it has stood the test of time.

SLP 466: A New Perspective Of Healing with Stacey Hardy
3/31/2025
‘My perspective of the past was really focused on all the negative things that happened to me, so much it was really hard to remember any of the good things. And the same with most women who come and work with me who have experienced trauma find it really tricky to remember good things in childhood. So, your perspective and your reality is so focused on the negative things that we forget the most beautiful moments that brought us joy and happiness. Going through the healing process allows you to look back with a completely different perspective finding all of the things you love to do and maybe reconnecting to those now in adult life and bringing those back in now.’ ~ Stacey Hardy
Stacey Hardy is a remarkable soul who this week shares her journey of overcoming trauma and abuse and how she learned to embrace the healing process which involved working with a Coach focusing on emotional and physical well-being. Stacey shares the importance of people feeling safe and understanding the healing process, as well as looking beyond external factors to address the root causes of trauma. Stacey explains powerfully the individual nature of healing journeys and the importance of following one’s intuition in seeking help.
Stacey is a Holistic Mastery Coach, Mentor and Author dedicated to helping Women reclaim their lives from the impact of emotional trauma. From a very young age, Stacey had suffered from significant emotional pain from unresolved physical & emotional trauma. She struggled throughout life with unexplained physical and neurological symptoms and spent years trying to find the answers that would help her heal.
Her breaking point came at 40, with a diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder and more than 20 brain lesions. Her mind had enough and started to shut down her body. She was told that her condition was her new reality, and that there was nothing more they could do to help, but deep inside, she refused to accept it. This was her turning point. She began devouring knowledge about nutrition, gut health, emotional trauma, physical anatomy, neuroplasticity, quantum healing and so much more. As she widened the doorways in her home to prepare for life in a wheelchair, she was also widening the doorways of her mind, stepping into an internal renovation that changed everything. She discovered her own power. Stacey made the brave decision to invest in herself and in her Mentor who guided her so beautifully as she transformed her life and began healing from the past. For the first time, she felt like it was ok to love and reconnect to herself. As she felt safe enough to begin healing from emotional trauma, she noticed her body began healing at the same time. This inspired her to study and become a Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy® & Advanced Hypnotherapy, where she continued her powerful healing journey. Stacey has made a promise to herself to never stop learning, and is continually studying, training and writing her own books to help others. Fast forward to today. Today, Stacey is the Coach and Mentor she wishes she had during her darkest days; she became the woman that she needed most. She has overcome many challenges and obstacles, rewired her brain, transformed her life and living free from past physical & mental illness. As a Holistic Mastery Coach and Women’s Self-Reconnection Mentor, Stacey draws from her own journey of healing and inspires women to find their own inner strength to begin their healing process. Her story is living proof that no matter how lost or broken you feel, there is a way forward.
Her definition of self-love is respecting my body, respecting who I am in all the ways soul, mind and heart. And honouring that in some way every day.
Her favourite quote is: Invest in yourself, you are worth it.

SLP 465: Self Love Quicky - The Hidden Dangers of Endocrine Disruptors
3/26/2025
In a world where convenience often beats caution, many of us unknowingly expose ourselves to harmful chemicals daily. From personal care products to household cleaners, food additives, and plastics, countless substances disrupt our endocrine system and contribute to a host of health problems, including hormone imbalances, weight gain, infertility, and chronic disease. In this week’s Quicky we unravel what these endocrine disruptors and obesogens are and why I love creating beautiful Twenty8 products that are not only effective but safe too!

Quotes: Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) interfere with our body’s hormonal system. Obesogens are a subset of EDCs that contribute to weight gain and metabolic disorders. Many substances in our food, cleaning products, and cosmetics were never properly evaluated for long-term human health effects. While we can’t eliminate exposure to all harmful chemicals, we can control what we bring into our homes. Switch to natural, organic skincare and cosmetics free of parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances. Use essential oils instead of chemical-laden perfumes and air fresheners. While we can’t control the chemicals used in public spaces, workplaces, or even in our neighbourhoods, we do have control over what we allow into our homes and bodies.

SLP 464: Navigating Love, Life and Parenting with Michael and Amy Stuth
3/24/2025
‘This is huge, a big point and I guess a point of friction in relationships right now and historically. And that is the difference between the nourishing mother and the beautiful caring type, energy that is there, and they just want to give and give and give versus the masculine archetype which is the man who sets the boundaries and when I say no, it means no and that’s the end and now there’s a consequence for that. And that’s a hard balance.’ ~ Michael
‘I don’t know if it’s anything to do with how we parent them, I think it’s more the model that they see as their parents. You know it’s not so much how I am parenting with my son Kai, its more so what he is witnessing from us in a relationship as a husband and wife. That I feel is more powerful and will have more impact on the partner he will choose in the future.’
In this week’s podcast Kim welcome’s Michael and Amy Stuth to the show where these special souls shared their personal journeys and experiences as a couple, discussing the importance of self-love and how to make relationships work. They dive deep into topics such as balancing individuality with motherhood, understanding one’s role in relationships, and the impact of guilt on relationships. They share their transformative program for couples, ‘Reconnected Union’, and the importance of self-love in fostering deep, meaningful relationships.
We discuss the concepts of the transition of the honeymoon phase to reality phase which is a pivotal point and can be the most magical transition of your life. Being in love with another is the highest reward in life. And it can be heartache and pain. It is whether you turn away from each other or towards the relationship when it is tough. Michael and Amy lean into asking deeper questions bringing you closer to self-love. And to an even deeper third part of love and that is the mature phase.
Michael and Amy Stuth are relationship coaches and the founders of The Reconnected Union, a transformative program for couples ready to reignite intimacy, deepen connection, and break free from unhealthy relationship patterns. Their journey together began in 2005, following a conventional path of careers, homeownership, and starting a family, only to find themselves in a disconnected power struggle despite their love for each other. Rather than settling for a relationship that felt flat and uninspired, they embarked on a journey of deep personal and relational growth. Through years of self-exploration, emotional healing, and embodiment work, they transformed their partnership into one of unwavering support, passion, and authenticity. Now, they guide couples through that same process, blending insights from Emotionally Focused Therapy, nervous system regulation, and practical tools for relational healing. Michael specialises in guiding men step into healthy masculinity with confidence, presence, and emotional depth. Amy brings her expertise in self-connection, communication and helping women feel seen, valued, and heard in their relationships. Together, they offer a balanced, holistic approach to love and intimacy that moves beyond traditional marriage counselling.
Free offering to listeners: A Conscious Communication Strategy PDF with instructional video to move from power struggle to partnership, clarity and deep connection.
Email us the code “Thrive” and we’ll send it out.
Their definition of Self Love is: When I am in alignment that is self-love. Michael It is loving the hardest-to-love parts of myself. Amy
Their favourite quote is: “The love you seek in another can only be as deep as the love you hold for yourself.” “Your conflicts, all the difficult things, the problematic situations in your life are not chance or haphazard.
They are actually yours. They are specifically yours, designed specifically for you by a part of you that loves you more than anything else. The part of you that loves you more than anything else has created roadblocks to lead you to yourself.

SLP 462: Challenging Your Perception Of Reality with Simone Leslie
3/17/2025
‘And when we’re young, most of our programming is done by the age of 7. And that’s really immature to run off for the rest of your life, I think. So, it’s guaranteed I would say, that some, or I think even a lot, of those neuro-associations that are incorrect are lies that we have programmed. It’s our reality and we are believing them, but it’s not the truth. And that’s where we can go wrong in life. We can think we are unworthy, we can think we’re unlovable, we can think all these lies and negative things about ourselves, in fact we even believe them because of both what was imprinted upon us and the meaning we’ve made of it.’ ~ Simone Leslie
In this week’s interview, we hear Simone Leslie’s personal journey and experiences with self-worth, mental health and what it has taken her to be on the powerful journey of self-love. Simone shares many concepts, including the meaning of choice, the importance of self-love and self-sufficiency, and the role of metaphors in personal growth and development. Simone explained the concept of neuro associations, which are the subconscious meanings we attach to objects or events, and how these shape our beliefs and behaviours. She highlighted that these beliefs are often imprinted upon us from an early age, before we have the critical thinking skills to assess them and can lead to negative self-perceptions.
Simone Leslie is a Master Neuro Strategist, TV host, speaker, & author. Beginning her career as a television presenter on Good Morning Australia, for nearly three decades now, she has presented to millions through national TV and live audiences across the globe.
Her focus is to help leaders address the lies stored in neural programs that cause subconscious sabotage, hindering their goals and success. She brings the practical wisdom of Spirit-led science.
Simone has worked with Fortune 500 companies, top corporate executives, elite athletes, SME’s and everyday individuals around the world, bringing alignment, unity, multiplication, clarity, and breakthrough.
“Most often the thing that limits us from achieving our assignment is not what we don’t know, but rather what we do! The limiting beliefs and lies we run off, about life, what we deserve, our worth, finances, core identity, Spiritual authority and inheritance. This is what holds us back from achieving what we were born to do. The process of breakthrough involves the perspective of Truth, & the re-wiring of limiting neurological pathways. This is what delivers results!” Simone explains.
Simone’s expertise in this field is grounded in real-life experience. Conquering fear, trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, and being suicidal, she was drawn to study the brain, hoping to discover what was wrong with her. What she found instead, was what was right with her. How our brains are wired to make meaning of everyday circumstances, and these form our beliefs and values, creating our reality and ultimately dictating our results, – good or bad. BUT… our reality is not always the Truth.
Over almost 30 years Simone has created many powerful Neuro Strategies and processes allowing Truth to bring freedom, healing, restoration, and multiplication. Simone is co-founder and Director of a Christian women’s organisation “Daughters of The King Global” in over 80 nations online, as well as running live women’s conferences & retreats in Africa, Europe, USA, Australia and Asia, restoring, and equipping women to own their brilliance, identity, authority and inheritance in Christ.
With her husband David, they have built and funded orphanages, childcare, schools & water projects to transform communities in Cambodia, Zambia, Ethiopia and Kenya.
Her definition of Self Love is: I love me now, I am imperfectly perfect. If I don’t love me, I won’t love you as well. I am fascinated with myself, and that creates growth.
Her favourite quote is from:
How much do you love you between 1-10 and if it is not a 10 you are sabotaging yourself. The degree you love...

3/12/2025
This past week saw us celebrate International Women’s Day, and in this week’s Quicky, Kim celebrates the progress made and the unwavering spirit of women who continue to lead, inspire, and uplift. SLP 460: Being Proud Of Yourself with Jade Sharp
3/10/2025
‘For me, I lived a sort of downplayed life. I wanted to be a stay-at-home mum, and at the same time, I didn’t share anything with anyone. I would never have done a podcast, I would never have done a speech for International Women’s Day, I would never have done that. I did not want to share my story with the world. And in doing so, it has opened up a life I could never have imagined I could live, and it has opened up the self-love and self-respect that I didn’t think I had in me, for myself. And what a way to live – I’m just so proud of myself.’ ~ Jade Sharp
In this week’s Podcast, we meet the amazing Jade Sharp, an extraordinary young woman whose journey goes from aspiring Olympic gymnast to coach and advocate for athlete well-being. Jade’s story starts as a young girl on Bribie Island dreaming of becoming an Olympic gymnast and training at the Australian Institute of Sport. She started gymnastics at 12, later than usual, but quickly became one of Queensland’s top gymnasts. Despite facing initial discouragement due to her age, Jade made it to the 1996 Olympic team. However, she suffered a severe back injury that prevented her from competing.
Jade reveals that her time at the AIS involved abuse, which she endured, believing that achieving her Olympic dream would make up for it. She now recognises the importance of the journey over the end goal and acknowledges the unsafe situations she experienced during her training. Along with the abuse, we talk about her journey of overcoming eating disorders and cancer. The conversation explores the challenges and changes in gymnastics and other sports, emphasising the importance of athlete safety, holistic development, and positive coaching practices. Jade openly and positively shares her vision for the future of sports and her commitment to inspiring others through her resilience and dedication to physical fitness and self-love.
About Jade:
Jade Sharp is a devoted wife and Mum to two teenage boys. She is a passionate advocate for youth development, sport, and resilience. As a former international gymnast representing Australia, Jade was selected for the 1996 Olympic Games at 15 years of age and, devastatingly, fractured her spine before competing, which led to an early retirement from gymnastics.
Jade’s journey in sports began at a young age and has shaped her career and life. With over 25 years of coaching experience, she has mentored countless young athletes in both Olympic Weightlifting and gymnastics, sharing her expertise and love for movement.
Jade is a founder and head coach of the not-for-profit, Bribie Island Olympic Weightlifting Club, where she has led the team for the past decade. She also serves as the Youth Development Coordinator for Queensland Weightlifting, where she inspires and develops the next generation of leaders in the sport. Additionally, she runs her own online gymnastics coaching business for CrossFit athletes, blending her unique knowledge of gymnastics and weightlifting.
In 2020, Jade, along with others, shared her experience of abuse as a teenager at the Australian Institute of Sport, triggering a human rights investigation and legal action that led to systemic changes in gymnastics, ensuring greater safety and support for current and future athletes.
Currently also pursuing a degree in High-Performance Sport at ACU, which was put on hold last year as Jade is now battling the very aggressive, triple-negative breast cancer, having endured six months of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and 25 rounds of radiation and is still in active treatment.
She is committed to staying active, coaching, and inspiring others, proving that even in the face of life’s inevitable challenges, strength, resilience, and hope can shine through.
Her definition of Self Love is in the doing… move your body, soak in the sun and water, feel the connection to Mother Nature, it’s about embracing the scars and your past, and sharing with my community and giving back. It is...

SLP 458: The Gift Of Being YOU with Dr Shari Hall
3/3/2025
‘He always, no matter where I was, or no matter where he was, because I didn’t actually live with him for a lot of my life because my mum had separated from him… but he always, always reminded me of who I am. And ‘I am’ are as you would know are two of the most powerful words in the entire world. And he always let me know who I was, and who I was, was me… authentically and beautifully me, and that I had gifts and talents that only I uniquely possessed in this world and could share with the world. SLP 456: Riding the Waves with Kimberley Jane
2/24/2025
‘One thing I did learn from my counsellor is try not to look too far ahead, like have goals for sure, definitely have a vision and a goal but know that that vision and goal may not turn into what you think because your path might be set in a different direction where you go… ‘What?’ but then when you get to the other side, like me talking to you today is mind boggling , I never thought I would be on a podcast, and just riding that wave and try to keep your head above water and going is this really happening?’ ~ Kimberley Jane
A beautiful conversation with the amazing Kimberley Jane who shared her personal journey of overcoming adversity, including her experiences within her relationship, bullying, and being a single parent. She spoke powerfully about how these challenges have shaped her into a resilient and determined individual. She also discussed her work as an Australian registered therapy dog trainer, the impact of her therapy dogs on people’s lives, and her plans to start a charity using the proceeds from her children’s illustration book. The conversation also touched on the importance of self-love, seeking help when needed and the power of being your own best friend.
Kimberley Jane is a dedicated educator, author, and nationally accredited Animal Assisted Dog Handler with over 26 years of teaching experience. A devoted mother to three – Felicity, Jamason, and Zoe – she has navigated immense personal challenges with unwavering resilience and self-love.
Her journey of transformation led her to co-author the children’s book Walk a Week With Us in School with her daughter Zoe, showcasing the profound impact of therapy dogs. Her beloved dogs, Daisy-Anne and Mickey, are not just companions but healing forces, providing comfort and support in educational and therapeutic settings.
Despite experiencing deep personal loss, workplace adversity, and professional setbacks, she has emerged stronger, embracing reinvention and new purpose. Through her writing, public speaking, and advocacy for self-worth, she inspires others to find light in the darkest times. Her philosophy – centred on resilience, self-love, and the power of new beginnings – echoes through her work, reminding us that even after life’s hardest trials, we can rise, rebuild, and thrive.
Guided by passion, people, and purpose, she continues to make a difference – one story, one step, and one paw at a time.
Her definition of Self Love is loving yourself enough to not give up, loving yourself enough to get help if needed and loving yourself enough to say ok I am ready for the next step.
Her favourite quote is from: ‘And still I rise… No matter what I still rise above and overcome what life throws at me.’

Quotes: Loving yourself enough means you do not give up on yourself. Resilience saved me. I am so grateful for all the highs and lows and that I am still here. You are the driver of your own destiny. It’s ok to not be ok. Life isn’t perfect. No feeling is permanent. It’s just who I am and that’s ok. It’s fun to do the impossible. New beginnings give you the freedom to make choices for yourself and your worth. If you can’t see sunshine find someone to sit with you in the rain. And still I rise.

2/19/2025
Protein powders are considered a staple in the health and fitness world, that offer a convenient way to support muscle growth, recovery, and overall well-being. But with so many options – whey isolate, whey concentrate, and plant-based proteins – it’s important to understand the differences, benefits, and which options are the most natural and effective. In this week’s Quicky we dive into each of these to see which is best suited for you.

Quotes: Protein powders are derived from various sources and processed differently, affecting their nutrient profile, digestibility, and impact on the body. Whey protein isolate is a highly refined form of whey. Whey protein concentrate is a less processed form of whey. Plant proteins come from sources like pea, hemp, brown rice, soy, and pumpkin seeds. Whey isolate due to its high protein content and rapid absorption is considered best for muscle growth. Plant-based proteins often contain fibre and prebiotics. Whey protein enhances muscle recovery post-exercise more effectively than plant-based alternatives, but plant proteins still support overall health and longevity.

SLP 454: There is a Kinder Way of Living with Chamilka Jayawardana
2/17/2025
‘I just realised there is a kinder way of living life, all round. Even in the corporate world I do think there’s kinder ways of doing things and kinder ways of achieving business goals. So, I’ll be honest with you I think when I set out to do kinesiology one of my first mission statements for my business was to be able to take kinesiology back into the workforce and show people that there was a kinder way of doing things basically. And whilst it may throw things at you and might not look as if the Universe is looking after you it is, but then Aminya came my way as if it was like – well you are going to have to prove this first before you take it into the work force.’ ~ Chamilka Jawaywardana
Chamilka Jayawardana has been a director of Aminya since 2022. A qualified Kinesiologist, she is a member of IICT and ATMS, with degrees in Economics and Arts. Chamilka’s previous experience includes 10 years in the corporate sector (both public and private sector, including managerial positions). After leaving the corporate workforce in 2008, she ran her own businesses, including a Kinesiology practice since 2020.
With her business experience alongside her passion for alternative medicine, she is keen to grow AMINYA’s reputation as one of the leading schools of Natural Therapy in the country.
In this week’s Self Love Podcast Kim interviews the amazing Chamilka Jayawardana, a Sri Lankan native who grew up in Zambia and spent 20 years in Melbourne before moving to the Sunshine Coast. Chamilka shares her journey from a corporate career to running her own photography business and eventually becoming a kinesiologist and natural health practitioner.
One of the key takeaways from this interview is the power of finding the courage to start over again and again. Chamilka reflects on her decision to buy Aminya College, emphasising the importance of fresh perspectives and the willingness to step out of one’s comfort zone. She also believes in the importance of trusting the Universe and focusing on positive energy to attract opportunities, especially knowing the corporate fast-paced world and how it feels to be in the complete opposite natural therapies world.
There are discussions on traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and natural therapies and the importance of tuning into one’s body and seeking help for emotional and physical pain. As well as the importance of self-care and natural healing methods. Chamilka believes there is a real need for individuals to take responsibility for their health and seek out the right practitioners for their needs. And she mentioned to never forget the role of sleep, nutrition, water, and nature in maintaining good health.
Chamilka shares information abvout her beautiful school, and the launch of a number of courses through Aminya College available in Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast, emphasising the importance of practical experience and clinic hours for building confidence in running a business.
Her definition of self-love is taking a break for you, as you cannot give from an empty cup.
Her favourite quote is:
DIS-TR-ACTION – you have to remove something to chase the right things

Quotes: You can have self-doubt yet my biggest strength was not knowing anything. Find the courage to start over and over and over. You don’t know what you don’t know. I cannot begin to explain the magic of aromatherapy. It is about generating forgiveness. I looked at the metaphysical meaning of tennis elbow and was blown away. It is important I first rest myself. My word for 2025 is relax and work from intuitive creativeness. Aminya is an indigenous word for the quiet place. You just need to get rid of distractions so you can take traction. You are unique, don’t forget that.

SLP 453: The Let Them Theory - Self Love Quicky
2/12/2025
In this week’s Quicky, we dive into how a world where control and expectation often dictate our emotions, the ‘Let Them’ theory offers a refreshing perspective: just let people be who they are. Coined and popularised by Mel Robbins, this concept revolves around the idea that instead of resisting others’ actions or trying to change them, we should allow people to do what they want – and, in turn, free ourselves from unnecessary stress and frustration.
At its core, the ‘Let Them’ theory is about relinquishing control. It suggests that when people make choices – whether they choose to invite us to an event, return our calls, support our goals, or behave in ways we don’t agree with – we should simply let them. Their actions reflect them, not us. Our job is not to change or convince them but to observe and act accordingly.
This is an interesting way to give yourself permission to let the things go that do not serve you. And to lean into what actually does give you the freedom to be you.

Quotes: We should allow people to do what they want – and, in turn, free ourselves from unnecessary stress. The ‘Let Them’ theory is about relinquishing control. When we stop trying to control others, our brain undergoes a shift. Neuroscience suggests that the amygdala – the part of the brain responsible for emotional responses – activates when we feel threatened or out of control. The prefrontal cortex, responsible for rational thought, helps us regulate these emotions when we shift our focus to acceptance rather than resistance.

SLP 452: How Much More Can I Push Myself? with Kristy Graham-Kumbae
2/10/2025
‘I went through a stage thinking how much more can I push? Like if I just switched everything off, how much more can I push? And it’s mind-blowing. It really is. You know you might do 6-12 reps, and then at the exact same weight, you can do 26, and you think, how did I make that happen? But I think being able to push through that is a skill in itself. It really is. Like being able to switch off that little birdy on the shoulder going nup, you’re done, it’s hurting… and you go – no – get off!’ ~ Kristy Graham-Kumbae
In this week’s podcast, Kim interviews the amazing Kristy Graham-Kumbae, where they dive deep into the importance of self-love, self-acceptance, and self-care in maintaining mental and physical health, particularly in the context of body image and fitness. They explore the challenges of maintaining a commitment to personal goals and the power of pushing oneself beyond perceived limits.
Kristy, an elite athlete, shares her experiences of being judged and criticised for her body, but emphasises the importance of not letting such judgments affect her mental health. She highlights the need for self-confidence and contentment, which she believes can help individuals navigate the challenges of being in the public eye. Kristy believes in the power of calmness and authenticity in loving oneself, too.
Kristy expresses her desire to approach health and wellbeing with a vitalistic rather than mechanistic mindset, and this focuses on the body’s innate ability to heal itself and the importance of having a team of professionals to support your personal growth and well-being. And she wishes nothing more than people to feel what she calls the “sprinkle” of happiness and fulfillment which comes after taking action towards one’s desires and goals.
The conversation concludes with a discussion on the importance of self-love and self-care in achieving success, and Kristy shares her journey towards her upcoming Olympia stage appearance.
Her definition of Self Love is: Always follow through with what you say and think you want.
Her favourite quote is: Level up and know that feeling on the other side of achieving what you want is so worth it!

Quotes: To be calm is an act of self-love. CALM – calmly, authentically loving myself. We tend to always struggle to put ourselves first. It is the feeling of calmness and confidence that really can change the game. Decisions for oneself have to come from within. If you really want to change your life, you WILL make the changes. It comes down to how bad you want it. We are very complex creatures. I wish you could feel what’s on the other side. I am having a ‘health expression’ is a positive way to look at what you are going through! The more people you bring into your professional table the more information you have to make better decisions. The more you ask for help the more beautiful people you have in your life. Consistency on a daily basis is key. Always follow through with what you say and think you want.

SLP 451: Self Love Quicky - The Power of a Theme Word
2/5/2025
As we continue stepping into the New Year, many of us may think we have our set resolutions, only to now be watching them fade away. But what if there was a simpler, more powerful way to stay on track? This is where the concept of a theme word or phrase – a single guiding principle that serves as a mental anchor, can help shape your decisions, behaviours, and mindset throughout the rest of the year. When you choose a word or phrase for the year, you create a psychological trigger that reminds you of your intentions, values, and goals and can help you stay true to what it is you would like.

SLP 450: Being Whole and Aligned with Sarah Louise
2/3/2025
‘As humans, we are so multi-dimensional, and you’re right this human part of us, the human mind and the programs and this is craving to feel safe, secure and to know, but that is just an element of us. And then we have all these emotions, and then we have all these feelings, then we’ve got our energetic soul, energy field, and I think if we can work with all of them if we can work to keep the physical feelings safe within and then we can explore the energy and… let’s call it the outer dimension, (who knows if it is out or in), but let’s call it our outer dimension of ourselves, then I talk about wholeness and becoming aligned. And we have to work on all those aspects of ourselves to fully have that.’ ~ Sarah-Louise
An exquisite conversation with the amazing intuitive Sarah-Louise who discussed the importance of intuition, trusting one’s gut feeling, and the role of intuition as a guidance system. Together they explored the concept of a cosmic layer that influences human experiences, the nature of Sarah’s intuitive abilities, and the significance of personal symbols and signs in their lives. Lastly, they touched on Sarah’s role as a guide, coach, speaker, healer, and light worker and the importance of grounding and stillness in the upcoming year – the year of the Snake.
Sarah and Kim talked deeply about the importance of discernment and intuition in navigating the abundance of information and guidance available. Sarah emphasised the need to choose one’s path and not be swayed by external opinions. They also touched on the topic of human design and astrology, with Sarah suggesting that these tools can provide valuable insights but should be approached with caution.
This interview follows Sarah’s role as a guide, coach, speaker, healer, and light worker. Sarah shared her belief that everyone can live an incredible, happy life regardless of their past, and she has dedicated her life to helping others achieve this. She also mentioned her upcoming sessions, which will be held on the 12th of February and will prepare people for the challenges of March.
Sarah has dedicated her life to helping others. She has worked for the past 25 years as a guide, life coach, speaker, healer and light worker.. She has studied a vast array of modalities with leading spiritual teachers around the world. Sarah believes everyone can live an incredibly happy life regardless of their past and their story and she is an incredible example of her words and her teachings. Sarah’s life has been far from a fairy tale but she understands that her past has been her evolution and she has a choice what the future looks like.
Sarah-Louise was also a guest on show 67 if you would like to know more about her story and offerings.
Her definition of self-love is having self-awareness. And her word for this year is EPIC!

Quotes: Get ready for the funkiness of March. Everyone has the intuitive ability but it may be underutilised. Trust the role of your intuition as a guidance system. Every person on this planet needs a gentle year and soft steps. Self-awareness and emotional work will help you navigate unforeseen circumstances. Go beyond the human aspect and explore the cosmic realm. Find your stillness and practice your grounding. If you are in doubt or don’t know what to do, ask yourself, what would love do?
