As Urban educators, we’re always trying to find strategies and solutions for our ever-changing programs. 19-year educator, Dr. Jack A. Eaddy, Jr., developed a band program that was highly decorated and recognized in spite of the many challenges his students experienced. Dr. Eaddy’s passion is to help build Urban programs, and he has presented nationally on teaching in Title I schools. Tales From the Band Room covers tips and tricks, as well as insight from other educators, learned while teaching in Title 1 schools. In each episode Dr. Eaddy speaks candidly, sharing the funny and sometimes crazy experiences that led to his band programs’ success.
