Influence Activated

You've built the brand. Now put it to work. Influence Activated is the tactical follow-up to Victoria Pelletier's Influence Unleashed: Forging a Lasting Legacy Through Personal Branding. Where the first book gave professionals a framework for defining their Why, articulating their unique value proposition, and building an authentic personal brand, this one closes the gap between having a brand and deploying it. Drawing on twenty-five years of executive leadership and a number-one social selling ranking on LinkedIn, Victoria delivers a channel-by-channel playbook for brand activation: writing and publishing as brand strategy, podcasting as both guest and host, speaking and media visibility, and a deep dive into LinkedIn, from profile optimization to algorithm mechanics and community building. Chapters on tools, metrics, and burnout prevention help listeners hold a presence over years, not weeks. The book also addresses the realities most branding guides skip: building visibility while employed, the tension between personal and employer brands, evolving a brand through a career pivot, and using AI as a creative collaborator rather than a shortcut. At its centre is the "CEO of Brand You" framework — the principle that every professional is responsible for building, activating, and evolving a brand that travels with them across roles, industries, and career chapters. Throughout, Victoria writes as an operator rather than a marketer — direct about what worked, what fell flat, and what she would do differently. Influence Activated closes by connecting activation to legacy, challenging listeners to define what they want to be known for and to use their brand as a vehicle for advocacy and lasting contribution. For executives, entrepreneurs, emerging leaders, and any professional ready to translate brand investment into visibility, opportunity, and influence. The second book in the Influence Series.
