Project Hail Mary Spoiler Review
3/28/2026
In this episode of the podcast, Jason G and I share our opening weekend (spoiler-filled)reactions to Project Hail Mary, one of 2026's first major blockbuster hits. We break down the film's standout sci-fi elements, the unique bond between Ryan Gosling and the alien "Rocky," and where the movie shines—and falls a bit short emotionally. We give our scores and thoughts on rewatch value. It's a fun, honest take on a buzzy film that's already making waves at the box office.

My conversation with DJ Gringo-Throwback episode.
3/23/2026
In this special episode, originally recorded in October 2019, I sit down with DJ Gringo for a real, unfiltered conversation about his journey through the DJ world—from spinning vinyl all night at major events like Rebel Salute to building his own signature parties at Bar 13 and Tune In Tuesdays. We talk about his love for roots reggae and dancehall, how he learned to read a crowd and control it, and how the industry has evolved with technology and social media. DJ Gringo shares honest insights on staying true to your sound, the importance of authenticity, and what it really takes to stand out as a DJ today. This episode now carries even more meaning, as DJ Gringo passed away in February 2026, and stands as both a reflection of his passion and a tribute to the energy, talent, and presence he brought to every room he touched.

Baking A Loaf of Bread-In the Kitchen
3/10/2026
In this episode, I share how I make a simple vegan, gluten-free loaf of bread at home using a bread machine. If you're interested in homemade bread, vegan cooking, or simple kitchen experiments, this episode gives a practical look at how easy it can be to make fresh bread at home.

One Sale A Week (on eBay) in 2026.
3/2/2026
This episode, I talk about selling nine random items from my apartment on eBay since the start of the year — not as a side hustle, but as a way to clear space and create circulation. From clothes with small flaws to an old air fryer, I share what actually sold, what I learned, and why turning clutter into cash is more about mindset than money. If you've ever thought about reselling but hesitated, this one's for you.

Sony to Let AI Play Your Games For You? VIDEO GAME TALK
2/27/2026
Sony just patented an AI "ghost player" that can guide you through a game — or even play parts of it for you. Some gamers think this is the beginning of the end. I think it might be the future. In this episode, I break down why AI-assisted gameplay doesn't ruin gaming — it evolves it. From treating story-driven games like playable TV shows to competing with Netflix and Twitch for our time, this might be the next big shift in how we experience games. And honestly? I'm not mad at it.

Send Help Movie Review-Spoilers!
2/11/2026
In our first movie review of 2026, we dive into Send Help, Sam Raimi's return to low-budget, gore-soaked dark comedy. We talk about the film's retro thriller vibes, outrageous practical effects, and the morally messy showdown between Rachel McAdams' brilliantly awkward survivalist and Dylan O'Brien's privileged but panicked counterpart. From Evil Dead–style camera gags to an ending that left us debating character choices, this island survival story gave us laughs, winces, and plenty to discuss. Fun, twisted, and very Raimi — we break down what worked, what didn't, and why it's a solid 7.5–7.8 out of 10 for both of us.

Talking Video Games and Making a Beat-December 2025
12/4/2025
In this episode, I dive into the excitement around Valve's newly announced Steam Machine and what it could mean for the future of handheld gaming. I talk about the rise of hybrid console–portable systems, why shorter and more interactive games fit better into my life now, and why the GTA VI delay honestly doesn't bother me. I also break down the controversy surrounding Rockstar's recent employee firings and share my thoughts on the gaming community's obsession with nostalgia. It's a mix of tech talk, gaming culture, and personal reflections on how I play today.
Finally after a work injury kept me home for three months(late last year), I dove into music production, inspired by Marc Rebillet's improvisational style and the gear he uses.
In this episode, I share the audio from my first beat video using this gear.

The Rising Cost of Video Gaming and my Relationship With It
10/23/2025
In this episode, I reflect on how gaming has evolved from a simple hobby into an expensive, subscription-driven ecosystem. From rising console prices and $100 blockbuster titles to the temptation of cloud and PC gaming, I share my personal journey of learning to game smarter—balancing enjoyment, impulse, and practicality. Through buying, selling, and rediscovering consoles, I've found that being intentional with my time and spending keeps the joy of gaming alive, even as the costs continue to climb.

28 Years Later Spoiler Review-$151 Million Later
10/2/2025
I'm back on the podcast after a break in September. Today, I want to share my thoughts on '28 Years Later'—a film that Jason and I found pretty impressive. It has definitely made my list of favorites this year, alongside 'The Amateur'. I was particularly struck by the cast, especially the young lead, and the way the film balances emotional intensity with moments of humor that made us chuckle.
Jason agreed, noting that the lighter moments added depth compared to darker apocalyptic tales like 'The Road'. We recalled some standout scenes, such as the crawling zombies, the memorable Alpha villain, and Ralph Fiennes’ quirky doctor, along with the amusing gang in their stylish tracksuits. While we felt some plot points, especially the mother’s death, could have been developed further, we both appreciated the world-building and performances. I rated it a 9/10, while Jason gave it an 8.1/10. We also considered the potential for a trilogy, especially with the sequel, 'The Bone Temple', coming out in January 2026.
On a positive note, I mentioned that '28 Years Later' had a budget of $60 million and has already grossed $151 million worldwide, which is a good sign for its success before considering VOD or streaming sales. We left the theater feeling satisfied with how the film strikes a balance between seriousness

The Ballerina Spoiler Review-$132 Million Later
8/23/2025
On this episode, Jason G and I review 'Ballerina', a spinoff set in the 'John Wick' universe between chapters three and four. We praise the film’s action, calling it some of the best in the series, with standout scenes, such as a flamethrower sequence. I mention struggling to fully buy Ana de Armas as an action star, while Jason suggests the director’s style may emphasize looks over grit. We also note the inclusion of Lance Reddick’s character, filmed before his passing, and appreciate how the action feels intense but more grounded compared to other over-the-top set pieces in this universe. We give the movie an overall rating of 7 to 7.8 out of 10.
The conversation concludes with thoughts on the box office and franchise. Despite a \$90 million budget, the film made about \$132 million worldwide, which may not cover total costs. However, it is performing well on VOD platforms. Lionsgate has not confirmed a 'Ballerina' sequel, but 'John Wick 5' is in development with Keanu Reeves returning.

Sinners Spoilers Review-Was the movie boring in the beginning?
5/16/2025
Jason G and I saw Sinners on April 17, 2025. We both enjoyed the movie. Initially, I felt it was boring and didn’t care about the characters' backstory. I even dozed off a few times. Jason thought it was a little slow to start, but it improved as the movie progressed. We go into further detail in our spoiler review. Check out the audio and video we recorded right after seeing the film, as usual.
